This is too weird. It just happened to me. A male voice said "uh...Hi." just like everyone else is saying. I had a bad cell connection and lost the call so I didn't think it wasn't legit. But this is just crazy, since everyone got the call today.

I have a philly area code.

I just got this call, and let it go to voicemail. It was an ad for a new wireless home security system.

Just called me.....

When I answered, I heard a recording saying "Congratulations! You and your family..." at which point I hung up, then I googled the number and found this blog. Any information about it would be much appreciated.

yeah i received a call from this number at 2:55 MT i'm in colorado. i didn't answer it, i looked it up right away and found this. what a weirdo.

just got a call here too on my cell WTF

I just listened to the voicemail I got from this number, and it was some girl pitching some debt consolidation scam. She said we spoke last week (which was a lie), and something about me making the minimum payments on my credit card debt, which is impossible.

I have heard this message before about a year ago, so it's just a recording that sounds like an actual person. Ignore it. The "uh, Hi" happening to all of you is odd though.

Called cell don't remember call but can't reach anyone on that end

Got a call from this number, but didn't answer it.  They didn't leave a message, but I called back and got the option to press #1 to be placed on their 'Do not call list"....quite weird!!! i am in the Harrisburg, PA area code.

Got missed call from this phone number i don't know what are the intention of call this is wierd! maybe a telemarketer or a scammer!

I just got the same robocall on several of the numbers in my office,
word for word with what Don from the 18th posted, using the 406-623-3644 number. I returned the call to an 800 number left in the voicemail after
googling and finding this and numerous other posts regarding the scam.
On calling I spoke to a “Stacia” or some such name. I asked for company
info and was told it is the “Consumer Debt Helpline”, which after
googling, there would appear to be several. I spoke to the woman and
said I was checking out her company because robodialing businesses and
cell phones was against regulations. She stated they were non-profit, so
it was legal. We traded “well yeah?’ a few times, and she hung up.

I took the liberty of calling the FCC. I gave all the details I had
about this company, as well as information regarding the robodialing,
the false statement that we had “spoken last week”, etc, and said flat
out that while I understand the company claims to be “non profit”, are
these practices legal? I was given an emphatic “NO”, and told that if I
would like, gathering as much information as I could about the company
and submitting a complaint is a good idea.

I am posting this to just about any site I can find where people have been called from this. Whoever it is, it is very shady. Could be phishing looking to get you to give them your address and social.

Left me a voicemail its an automated message saying its a wireless home security offer

they just called my cell. Recording pitching a supposedly satellite tv service, repeated 'press1 for more information' numerous times thru-out the call.  Naturally did not press 1.

From the sounds of it they're fraud. Or telemarketers. If you answered they recorded that you picked up and will keep calling I'm assuming.
