This number called around 4pm.  No message left.  Good!

1:07 pm Called and hung up as usual. They must get paid for the number of times they dial a number. LOL! I will tell them to read the remarks on this site for their number.

I continue to get "robocalls" from "Rachel at Cardholder Services", and the caller ID says the number is 407-358-9999, located in Florida. I called the number and got a recorded message saying the number was not in service, but the recorded message did not sound like a phone company message.  I wanted to tell them to stop calling, and that I am on the national "Do Not Call List", but I guess the phoney recording about the number not being in service is a way to prevent people from getting through to them to tell them to stop calling.  

There has to be a way to shut down the Cardholder Services operation.

Credit Card Services!!!!   calls again and again and again and again and again. There is no way to stop these SOBs   No matter what you do the call and call and call!!!  Their # 407-358-9999 if you call them back "IS NOT IN SERVICE"!  What Scum Bags......................................

I have received numerous calls from American Direct trying to sell membership, promising to save me 20% or more off retail prices on anything and everything.

I decided to try a different approach.

This time American Direct telemarketer's name was Cindy. Once she stated the reason for her call I asked her to hold for second.

I was still on the line, but stated out loud "did you hide the body?"

I waited a few seconds as if I was waiting for a response, then stated "I have an alibi, I am holding with Cindy from American Direct, you better think of one for yourself." I heard Cindy gasp and hang up on me.

I will have to try this again with other solicitors.

Am on the do not call list, but continue to get calls from this number.  When I call back I get a recording that the number is not in service.  My opinion is that when I called back the voice is not of an legitmate operator, but the scammer saying the number is out of service.  How could it be out of service when they called me 2 seconds ago?????/  I do not answer any calls that I am not familiar with..

I've just reported it to the governing agency for this. Hopefully everyone will do it, that's what's needed to stop it.

They are trying to get your credit card number so they can do identity theft, would be my guess.  They are not affiliated with any bank or most likely credit card company.  They will ask you for your credit card number - if they were working for a bank or credit card company, don't you think they would already have that information on hand?????  They are A FRAUD and criminals.  They have been doing this scam for a couple of years now and keep moving from state to state and using multiple numbers.

No message.  Just a call from Florida.

I keep getting repeated calls from 407 358 9999 but it is only around the holiday season. I tried to call the number back as well and got a disconnect, no longer in service voice mail. The call only happened two minutes prior to that what is the deal? Why can't they find themselves some real jobs as well. We need our money too.

This caller is a SCAM. They call all the time. DO not give them any information and you CAN BLOCK them if you have that setting.  Here are the numbers that I found to be SCAMMERS!!!!

This scam is from an organization that's been around from years.  They change numbers all of the time, last time I got a call from these people, they were in Washington, and before that they were North Carolina.  That's one way they're able to avoid getting caught.  I don't think they move the whole office, I think what they're doing is spoofing phone numbers so that they can slip through call screening systems.  This isn't just a scam, it's a criminal organization that systematically reaches out for people to get their credit cards.  What's worse, there are people who fall for it enough to keep them in business.

I never answer the phone from any number I don't recognize anymore.

call leave a loud noise on the phone like they are trying to blow a whisper in the phone. a prank caller.get a real job. it against the law to call people and, try prank on people.

I got a brief message about a final notice and how I can lower my credit card debt, then given an option to block these calls, which I have done on three previous occasions and they still call, or an option to talk to an operator. I opted to talk to an operator this time, after a couple minutes I was talking to a woman who asked me if I owed more than $3,000 in credit card debt. I told her I don't even have a credit card and asked what kind of scam they are pulling, she said no scam, and asked if I had a debit card with the Visa logo on it, saying that it is a credit card because of the Visa logo. I told her it is just a check card at which time she just hung up on me without saying another word.

When I called back they have a message saying the number is not in service, then a fake beeping tone as if you had your phone off the hook for a long time... then, if you wait long enough, the number rings again replays the not in service message and fake beeping tone over and over in an endless cycle.

They never say an actual Company name, and they have no knowledge of any debt you may owe, they are just trying to find someone who owes money to scam them, in my opinion.

I keep geting these calls i never answer it anymore. The time that I did. it said your credit card is ok but you need to call us. I am like when pigs fly. I wish there was something that could be done about them. I am also on the do not call list.
