I know people who have dropped their landline service because of so many nuisance calls.  The Telcos should realize this and make it impossible to spoof Caller ID -- make it like the ANI provided to INWATS customers..  Do Not Call should be expanded to include so-called nonprofits and politicos.  Falsibying Caller ID should be made a felony with a $10,000 fine and one year of hard labor in prison for EACH violation.  Better yet: put 'em in cells provided with phones that ring every 6 seconds 24-7-52.

Recorded message "Credit Card Services" offering last chance at interest reduction. Have previously chosen the option to discontinue calls, so this time I chose "live operator." When I notified that they were in violation of  the "Do Not Call" law, she hung up. Clearly some sort of scam.

They spoff the numbers. Have you ever had 800-000-1234 or all zeros? They don't want you to know how to get them. Last time I kept the guy on the phone for 30 minutes wasting his time. Gave him all kinds of bogus info and numbers. Finally had to tell him I was screwing with him...geez he hung up on  me:)

By reading all the comments, seems Rachael from Card Member Services is at it again.  Well I never answer anymore unless I know who's on the other end. Rachael can call 'til the cows come home but she'll NEVER get an answer at this house. Since I stopped answering these, the number of calls has dropped way down. Used to be 4-8 per day, now get about 4 a week. Not answering is the only way to stop these scammers. CID said Florida call  407-358-9999.

I've gotten several phone calls from credit card interest lowering companies, but I never noticed the caller id Florida before.  If I don't know the id or number I don't answer the call.

These Do Not Call Lists are like the gun laws. The bad guys ignore them and the good guys can't do a damn thing about them.

I am on the NO CALL LIST.  Why am I getting a call from whoever this is.?

Same $hit as all the others. After nov 6th, if there are still enough rational citizens to put Washington back under OUR control,  we the people should instruct our government/s to do whatever necessary to deter these criminals. Death penalty seems quite fair...

I didn't pick it up.  What amazes me is they do not leave a message or they hang up when I pick up the phone usually.  What is the rational behind hanging up?  To see if I am home or see what type of reaction I'd give....  They rang again while I was typing this and hung up after one ring.

When I answered a call from this number I did not recognize, the person on the other end did not speak.  They hung up after a solid minute, or so.  A weird call.

This is another scam call from our dear friend "RACHEL".............isn't it about time she should change her name?    Since it is always just a recording, I can't literally talk to her even if I wanted to!

I receive calls from these hustlers at least once a month.  I'm also on the Do Not Call list.  My vision isn't so good so I am forced to pick up the phone to make sure it isn't someone important.  This is such a sleazy way to do telemarketing.  The call is meant to make the recipient think that they are being contacted from card member services from a credit card they have.  It violates the Do Not Call act on so many levels.  What does it take for the federal government to take notice and shut these flakes down?

Why can't one of these technology geniuses invent a gadget that will plug in between the wall jack and the phone so that when a damn scumbag calls you can enter their number. Then if they ever call again it will create some sort of feedback that will blowup their entire calling system (and maybe a few the [***] along with it.)

I get these calls and yet it tells me to hit 3 to take my # off the "list" but it only gets worse! I am sick and tired of these harassing phone calls. I have the ability to stop all unknown calls but unfortunately this # is listed so it makes it thru.
What a pain in the ASS! I don;t know how to stop it. I don;t know how they got our name as we don't even have any credit cards!!!!!
