Got the call from 407-545-9999, with the ID of James Burnie.  It was faked.  This is the same outfit that calls from 352-561-9999, with the opportunity for you to lower your credit card interest rate.  THIS IS A SCAM!  Don't answer these calls.  Your real credit card company do not "cold call" their clients with the "chance" to lower your rate.  If you are a good customer, they will lower it automatically, if you ask them.  I do not answer any calls from anywhere that end in "9999".  those are all fake.  If not, then they will leave you a message.  I blocked the 407 call last night, so now they are calling me on another number.  that will be blocked too.

Comes up as "James Burnie" on my Caller ID, but is really that ALL-TOO-FAMILIAR auto-message from "Rachel at Cardholder Services".  REALLY SICK of these calls.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list - that never stops them from their consistent harassment.  How do we get these people to STOP CALLING????

They want credit card numbers to clean out your bank accounts.  Crooks probably link to terrorist organizations trying to get money. FBI I needs to send a predator with hell-fire missle to send them to hell..

I watch the crime TV shows and just like the "communicators" on Star Trek, everything you see in fiction is eventually a real invention or capability.  So when you see the FBI can pinpoint cell calls, maybe they can in some cases, and maybe they will soon in everyplace.  I'll call the FTC to complain, but the technology to spoof may be way beyond the present capacity of government employees to monitor and stop.

CID came up Harvey Steve. Call regarding lowering CC interest rates. Spoke to individual and when I asked what cards he was calling about he said Visa & Mastercard. I asked what acct numbers he was calling about because I don't have visa or Mastercard. He then hung up. Tried redial and got an error msg. I finally got VM and left message for a callback. Still not rec'd. Some sort of scam!
