I filed a complaint against this number with the FCC at the above link.  I don't know who is behind this number since it's silent before the creepy recorded voice and then a hang-up.  Are they casing neighborhoods?  They're not trying to sell me anything so since it seems sinister, I wanted to have an official complaint filed.  

May 5, 2014:  3:40 pm...Today I answered (calls came in all weekend from this number without leaving any message),  Asian Male named Matt said he was soliciting for a company called General Homes Designs, offering a 20% off for remodeling home services of all kinds for folks in San Jose.  I asked him for the address of his business office in San Jose and he said, 437 B Main St.  As far as I know, Im not aware of this street or address in San Jose.  I told him such.  I then asked him for his Contractors License Number and he asked if he could put me on hold.  Before I knew it, he put me on hold.  Never came back.
At least I didn't get the woman this time who only says "Goodbye" and hangs up.   He did say the business name is on the web....I haven't  tried that yet.      These people called all weekend long and for the past several days at all times.  (I don't answer when I see the caller i.d., and they never leave a message.)         This is obviously ONE BIG SCAM PEOPLE

Continuous calling without anyone there.  How do I stop this???

Somebody calls from this number and hangs up.

Just got a call from 408-385-2555 when I answered there was about 15 seconds of silence then a what sounded like a computer generated woman voice said "goodbye" then hung up.

Several seconds of silence and then a woman's voice says good bye.  Caller ID says Unknown Name.

I get calls from this number all the time. I finally had to
block it on my phone. I am registered in the DO NOT CALL
Registry, so I believe this caller is operating illegally.

I got many calls from this number too, how can I stop that?

Calls constantly but never says anything

same thing as callers above, 1) phone rings from this #, 2) I pick up, say Hello, but no one responds, dead silence, 3) after 5 seconds then a computerized female voice says "goodbye".    

This company has been a pain in the........We have received at least few calls every single day from it.  We informed the callers  that our telephone number has been registered with the Federal Trade Commission and it has been in the list of "Do-Not-Call".  Regardless of how many time we had informed them, they kept calling.  The company employees were very rude when being told not to call again.  And again, they keep calling.  

We will eventually write to the FTC for the further handling of this type of harrassing advertisement.

I've seen posts on other telemarketing complaint sites verifying that this pernicious, unceasing pest is the telemarketing arm of General Home Design (http://www.generalhomedesign.com/).  Please be sure to file a complaint with the FCC (https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088!createComplaint.action).  I think this falls in the 'better something than nothing' category of fighting back, as they call at least once a day (I now have them on call blocking).  Please submit your complaints!

I was on my phone when they called so after getting this number at least 50 time over the last few months, I tried to call them back and got a computer saying "an agent will be with you as soon as available and then there was taped  music. No one ever answered.

This number keeps calling we screen calls.

I received the call today at work.  No one answered until finally a computerized woman's voice came on and said "goodbye"

It appears to be a local number - I flagged them as JUNK CALLER on my contact list
so I will not waste time answering if they call again

They left a message saying, "Hello Kenneth?! ..... HELLO KENNETH?!! ......Kenneth?!" They have been calling me often over the past week, so I blocked them.

I had asked these guys to stop calling me but their computer keeps calling me almost every single day. I looked them up on their web site and got this number 408 837 9030 and spoke to Aaron. He apologized and said he would put me on the do not call list. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

this is an annoying caller who never answers , but calls continuously.,
