Same here.  Got a voice message with 'please accept our sincere apologies' from this number.

same as above "please accept our sincere apologies due to a technical difficulty we are unable to talk right now" haha very funny who the heck is calling us and dont try to disguise your real number from us that is what answering machines are for we dont answer unless we know who it is for sure.

After several calls, of please accept our sincere apologies, I answered the phone.  It was someone stating they were with a Police Officers Association.

bet you guys all have uverse voice - they get around do not call list because it's a charity that att supports - total bs - when my year is up I'm done with them - between billing me double what they promised & spending valuable time sorting it out with idiots in their billing dept, I've had it - total crooks

any of guys try to report this from the donotcall.gov website? I'd been getting several call from this number and is damn annoying.

A for-profit company pretending to be a police charity.  Multiple names and numbers.  They always leave their stupid automated message on answering machines and voicemail.  Since they're pretending to be a charity, they claim they are exempt from DNC restrictions.

Receive a call, same crap "due to a problem in our area...'

I received a phone call on Saturday morning.  The caller waited for my recorded message to finish and simply left the line open.  I could hear some background conversation on the message.

so glad I didn't answer. thanks for posting the phone number and info. are people reporting it to do not call registry? or???

My caller id says California call no message

I get the same "technical difficulty" message. I don't know why they do that. To see if someone is home? Whatever the reason  I guess it is a prank call but there must be a point to it. Oh well. We have the dogs and the guns here, the alarms and cameras. What idiots. Just bored I guess? Just stupid? Or some motive?

Has anyone ever bought from any of these people? Where do they get the names. Not everyone gets these kind of calls so how are singled out for prank calls?

A live male identified himself as representing a police-sponsored fund organization.  I hung up promptly on hearing that....

so you don't want to talk to me in person (something like that) and then they say please except our appology.
It's a male voice.

I have received multiple calls from this number. Male voice who mumbles.

The 1st part of the msg is not recorded because the guy is talking over the greeting.  

The recorded part says:
"Please accept our sincere apology. Goodbye"

I believe that they are making a database of "what # answers" and "what time".

The outfit makes their money selling the list.  That explains why no one is on the line.

THEY DON'T NEED TO BE, TO GET THE DATA THEY WANT.  DON'T ANSWER, PERIOD!!
