I keep getting calls from this number too.  What can I do to get the calls to stop?  Can I report it to someone?  These calls keep coming in on my cell phone.  Please advise and thanks.

This company keeps calling even though I asked them to remove me from their list.  They are costing me money by using up my cell minutes.

Simply go to Rob Davis, Chief of Police San Jose, California and report these calls
as a form of harassment..  Ask the police department in San Jose to verify the
numberr of calls being reported to Google @408-754-5049.  That should help
stop the intrusion into your homes and work places.

Chief Davis is a well-educated man with FB I traning, as well.  I feel sure his
group will help you.  You may submit a report or call them if this becomes really
unpleasant for you.

If that doesn't do it, report these calls  to the Attorney General for the State of California.

Left recorded message...essentially commenting that Xerox exports jobs and recommending I visit the web site www.xeroxexportsourjobs.com.  Also gives a "company?" name (CWA) and a phone number to call, mentions an address in New York.

I've never called from any number about any ridiculous wrinkle creams, and I got a call at six o'clock in the morning from these creeps.  

What a pack of [***] -- as if I'd ever buy anything from some stranger who calls me on my cell phone at some obscenely rude hour of the morning.  Are there really enough people THAT stupid out there to make this kind of marketing tactic actually pay off?

received a hang-up call from 408-754-5040.  googled the number and found several blogs describing annoying calls from this number.  they seem to be deeply into telemarketing.

i was called at 11:16 on nov 30 2011 i live in toledo oh 43606 harley rd apt 3 i was recently called by your company Dnc.scs@south bell.net And was told i order a slice-o-matic or somthing like, that and was told i was to recive earring and neckless for ordreing .. she gave me my last # of my credit card and i dont have a clue how she got this info .. i will be contaction my Attorney if my accout is tampered with and will be contacting Better Buissness Burral... In regrads to this call ... please be asvised i will be on my guard if this transaction is carried through... please call me at 419-280-1441 to let me know how or who gave u my credit card #...

I want nothing to do with any company affiliated with this number. I do not want any more phone calls nor do I want any promotions.   If this contiues I will contact a Lawyer and have this matter handled by them.  I already contacted one who will take my case and a class action suite will be filed.

when the person called and said i would received one thing for free and another thing that would be billed to my card and I said NO i do not want you to send me anything nor do I want anything else billed to my card they just hung up.  this person did not want to listen to anything i had to say and i will sue.

Everything you have said is no excuse for invading my privacy. I'm not obligated to listen to any telemarketer if I do not want and if I choose not to, I should not be bothered by repeated calls. The marketing tactics you just explained deserve complaint(s) and lots of them.

I received 3 calls from this number in the last several days.  The third call left no message on voicemail.  Very annoying.

I find it amazing that the same poor excuses come from all these scammers.
<1> Through the core honesty of someone listening or watching a product commercial, they believe what is being presented. How sad that it seems more often than not that the product is some fake or underperforming product.  «2» How amazing it is that a customer's info can be rapidly taken, but not preserved or deleted if they wish to cancel after an inquiry or sale of ONE single product (not the "special" or "bonus" offers.  «3» Working with computers in my own profession I find it a very poor excuse that deleting the "customer's" info upon confirmation of their request, cannot be done quicker than entering it.  It is clear that it is merely a tactic used to force a potential customer (now frustrated) into buying more unwanted products just to get off the calling list.  «4» I would encourage anyone ordering a product from any info-mercial from a radio/TV offer use a calling card and do it from a pay phone, provide a beeper number or even local pay phone number. If you use your own phone, pressing *67 on many landline numbers will block your number from the receivers caller ID. If you call from your cell phone, you may do the same AND on both, you should be able to block incoming numbers -- check your carrier or service provider.  Bottom Line: there seems to be many more scamming and unethical companies out there and unless you complain to your government representatives, laws will continue to be nonexistent or weak on this matter.

Received a call from 408-754-5040. Caller ID showed it was from San Jose, CA.  Since I know no one from that city, I did not answer.  No message was left for me.  I immediately Googled the number and found remarks dated back to 2008 indicating this was a scammers number.
