I received a call from this same number they told me they was from Medicare and I would receive my new card in the next 7 days they had my name address also my bank they ask for my bank account number I called Medicare said this is not true that Medicare never ask any thing about bank account >>>Please beware if you get a call do not give this or any one any thing about yourself we all are being scammed I am glad I got to the right source be ware of these people

I received several of these calls no one ever spoke.  I checked these blogs and saw what was happening. I contacted their phone provider  Level 3 Communications, LLC.  I have not had another call from this number since.

Received 7  calls from this number in two days!!!! I have caller ID so I don't answer,  but it still is driving me nuts.   STOP CALLING

The called yesterday (8/27), saying that they from the Social Security administration and that they were sending us NEW SS cards. They wanted to 'confirm' our bank to whom out SS checks were sent. When my wife declined they hung up.

Received a call from this number saying they were calling from Medicare because they were going to mail a new Medicre card to me.  The person who called gave me my name, address and phone number and asked me to verify these were correct and I told him yes.  Then he asked me for my Bank Account Number and I hang up the phone.

I'm receiving few calls every day from about one week but I never answer the calls,because when I do not the number I always go to this page. Thanks to all the people that adverts us.

This number has been calling my mother.  Here's a suggestion - at least for the older folks - don't say ANYTHING when you answer the phone - just pick it up and listen.  If it's a legitimate call, the caller will say "Hello? Is anyone there?" but a telemarketer/scammer will just hang up and call at another time.  Hope this helps and I will let my mom know what you've all posted - THANKS!

received call today 8/31/2012 some sort of unsurance supplement pitch were asking for banking/financial ifno.  Fraud.. ...   Am going to contact attorney general office.

called  said they were going to send me  card for  medical retiree  .not retired. needed to
   my  correct info.  i live in palatka  fl 32177.  this is a  SCAM ALERT.  HAVE  FOREIGN ACCENTS.

and other products. Someone this blog had a number 18773078442. Dialed the number. Was about buying Yellow Pages

Received call from this number (409) 291-5191 ... unknown number, let voice mail pick up.  All the imbicile did was blow thru the phone.  Picked up receiver and blew back.  Who are these absolute worthless pieces of crap and why doesn't our government get involved and catch these scumbags.  There has got to be a way to stop this. They (government) are trying to get involved in the rest of our lives, so get with it and stop this nonsense.  Very annoying to say the least.

I just receive the same call telling me that all medicare members will receive new cards. For verification they stated my address which was correct and then asking which is my bank, I hang up.
That is a scam and should be reported to FBI.

Received a call from this phone number and they called me by my FULL name and said they were going to send me a new Medicare card and that everyone on Medicare was going to get one.  When I asked why, they  hung up.

Received three calls in three consecutive day, finally decided to answer it.  Max (with an almost not understandable accent, said he was calling about my "medical card"... When I said excuse me, he hung up... Avoid answering these fools.

I answered thinking it was the cell phone of someone I knew. It was someone who could not speak English who kept asking who I was, when I asked who she was, she just kept asking who I was. I hung up and blocked the number. Obviously some screwball scam artists preying on little old ladies.

These dirtbags tried to get our bank account number under the con that they would send a new social security card.  Imagine how many elderly people on a fixed income fall for this.  These people need to go to jail.

We have been getting repeated calls from this number for several days.

When we answer the phone, there is often no one there.

On a few occasions, they have asked to speak to one of us by name, but then they hang up.

On one occasion, they said they were sending a new medical card????

From the noise in the background, it sounds like a boiler room operation.

Nothing about the calls seem normal or legitimate.

Caller tried to find out who I banked with..hung up when I said I wasn't comfortable giving out private information.

these folks keep calling saying they are w/ the social security admin and are requesting our personal checking acct info - it has to be a scam...
