Now he is not the DEA but from the SS Disability and he is calling to inform you that the next SS check was going to be sent to you on Nov 1st and that because of the State Gov shut down that there would be no check for 3 months and he needed my mothers Medicaide number. He is also using this number 410-929-1478. Ext# 135.

This scammer identified himself as a Social Security agent and that because of the government shutdown your social security check would be mailed rather than direct deposit.He then went on to verify information but when he ask for my mothers maiden name AND THE ACOUNT # I knew he was a FRAUD!!

My answering machine is always OFF.  

This piece of s*~t called my mother who is 89 yrs Los sharp as a tack she knows better and
Warns her friends not to give out personal info over the phone to anyoune you don't know but
my brother her 1st born passed away 2 weeks ago and one of her closest friend we buried this past
weekend so her guard was down and she wasn't on her A game to say the least and this guy left
a message pretending to be from Social Security and that she would not be getting her direct deposit
but would receive a check instead and the he needed to verify certain personal info and she gave him
Everything when she hung up the phone I asked her who was that and she told me SSI I said they would have your info and you would confirm it but not give it to them so we. Called right back and got no answer we immediately called her bank I set her up with a identity theft protection company she
Called the police closed her bank accounts! So never let your guard down its when your most
vulnable that's they can get you and will BEWARE! The number was 410-929-1478 EXT. 135

He did it again with my mother who is 89 years old too. But she wouldn't give him information although he had her SS # and mother's maiden name. She notified the Social Security Office & changed her accounts and passwords. Beware !
