This number calls me constantly. Have tried to block to no avail. Want it to stop.

These people suck.  Is there anything lower than a debt collector that operates like this one?
They have numerous numbers from numerous states.  
The numbers I have received calls from in the last week alone are:
857-362-9267, 857-445-0187, 857-445-0451, 678-275-8928, 412-235-6111, and 859-586-9557.

The bill they are trying to collect is from 13 years ago.
Do not pay these people or give them any information.

Portfolio Recovery.  I have this number blocked on my phone. I also got a call from another number Portfolio uses, Area code 602-635-3897.  I didn't answer and no message was left.  

So been getting the calls too. I have asked them to STOP calling and they won't. So I now answer my phone Jack Me Off Sperm Bank, You spank it we bank it. They immediately hang up and I am free from them for a few more days. The calls have cut WAY DOWN!!!

What has worked for me is taking the phone off the hook so that it does not ring they just get a busy signal.
I have dissuaded several callers this way.
However if every one replying in this forum would file a simple complaint with the FTC and the FCC whereever you can it would help more.

receiving calls from this number at all hours of the day and night, sometimes they change numbers, but its the same company, the total number of calls per day is 17

You say hello about 3-4 times before anyone says something. Then ask for my husband. When I say he is not here, can I take a message they hang up. They call at night about 8:15. They call about 2-3 x a week.They wouldn't tell me who they were. The number is always 412-235-6111.

They call frequently, sometimes several times in one day, and usually several days in a week. Every time I do answer it just hangs up, but I stopped answering their calls a while ago, because they've called us for months.

This number never leaves a message, calls several times a day and shows up on the caller id as 'Donna Hines'. Since they call my cell, I just block the number using the Mr. Number app.

Do what I do. When they call I keep saying, Huh? Huh? Huh? Who? Who? Who? One day they called and I had a canister airhorn and let it fly, that was awesome

What I do is a few drinks that day and I get the call from them I pick up the phone and when they say my name I tell them that this phone call is being recorded a for possible legal action may I have your name your company's name and the phone number you are calling from and the reason for this call. I also tell them I will not turn off the recording unroll they are done with the call. Most.of.the time they hang up before I am done talking about the recording.. If.they stay on the phone they get real respectful and watch they say. What they don't know is I don't have a recorder. LOL....

Got a new phone number --- have been calling twice daily - finally called them back to tell them to stop calling.
