I get this call 17 times a day... no one answers. and no messages left

They just keep calling and never leave a massage I wish they would Stop!!!!

I got calls from this number almost 4 times withn the last 5 hours.No voicemail left.

I've received 6 calls in the last 20 min from this number, no voice mail. It's annoying. Especially since you can't call back to find out who it is.

I got a realistic-sounding but clearly computer-controlled voice.
"Sylvia" thought I was following her directions as she told me to go to WakaNetwork.com and claim my $110 in Wal-Mart prizes. She asked for my address and credit card info and said I would be charged $2.99 for processing my prizes and enrolled in a savings club with a "free" 14-day trial.
No word on what it costs after that.
It sure sounds like a phishing scam !!!

Here's an idea.. next time you receive a call from them.. tell them to call back on your land line - give them your local police dept phone number..?

Could be someone fishing for CC users?    for ID theft?
If they have your phone#, they have your name and address.. You let on that you do have a CC by saying you wont give your cc info out ect.. gives them a lead to go on for ID theft..

got a call from this number this morning. caller id says "Name, Not Found". Had gotten the call from a Texas number last week, too. Almost fainted. I have an elderly aunt and uncle who live in Europe, and their long-distance calls come up as "Texas Call" on caller i.d., so when I got the unsolicited call from TX at noon, I almost fainted thinking something was wrong with my family.

same her...once i hear recording to accept something... i hung up.

These people called me eight times with an hour yesterday, and the calls have started again today. My cell phone is registered on the do not call list.  I don't answer calls like this and they never leave a message. Wish the federal govt would tighten up enforcement of the do not call laws.

I picked up, they said that i participated in an online survey for Walmart and that I will be receiving a $100 giftcard for walmart, and that I am eligible to win an I-Pod. I told her that I did no such thing and she said "yes you did". lol, I think I know what I did better than her... She starts talking but her voice was going in and out and there was no way to hear what she was saying, and then she asks "ok?" ....like a fool I said "ok what?"..then she said, "we'll try back later" and hung up. Never use the words "ok" or "yes", because they can use the recording to claim you agreed to something. They never asked for anyone by name, so if they were calling for me (or I did an online survey) they would have my name. I should of asked who are they calling for, and told them to just send me the gift card...but they don't know my name or my address, just my phone number. obvious SCAM!

yes I got a miss call from this number but no voice mail that is crazy

called on June 16, 20012, at 8:23 pm. Told me that they got my name on the survey that I submitted in reference to a Walmart (which I never did)  she told me that I will get a $100.00 gas card if I will go to my computer and she will walk me of how to get that gas card & I told her I don't have a computer, then she suggested that I can do it on my cell phone and she'll walk me through of how to get the $100.00 gas card & I told her I don't have that capability in my cell phone either and she hanged up.

My cell phone states this is a prank number. Called 65+ times in a 24hr period. Please put this to a stop immediately.

I received a call from this number and they also told me I won a $100 Walmart gift card for previously completing an online survey.  I asked the lady, now what kind of survey did I complete? She said some waka survey.  I told her that I didn't complete an online survey.  Then the lady said, I promise I'm not trying to sell anything, I just want to give you the gift card you won.  I went on to say that I didn't complete a survey and she said well someone in your household did--I told her I'm the only one in my household!  Then she tried to get me to log into a website--told her I don't have access to a computer and she said--you can just use your phone.  How pushy!  I just hung up on her because she wouldn't listen to what I was saying.

getting calls from this number, no msg.  keeps calling, can't get rid of them.

Said they were calling to send me a $100 gift card that I entered to win at Wal*Mart.  Then they told me to go to a website and enter a bunch of personal information.  Like I'm going to do that!  Interestingly, on the first page of the website, on the right there are all kinds of links for $2.99 this or that.  What they are really after is not the $2.99, but your credit card.

Total BS scam.  I've added them to my blocked list on my phone.  Also, if you go to this website ... IMMEDIATELY run a malware scan ... they put a tracking cookie on me!  It's a good way to "secretly" steal information.

Looks like a busy spoofed number - just called my cell. When you answer they harvest your proven cell phone number to use for more annoyances. That's the robo-voice that answers your "Hello" by saying "Good-bye". Kind of like if you reply to spam in e-mail. If a number comes into my cell phone & is not recognized from my contacts list I answer & instantly hang up. Then whoever it is does not even have a chance to leave a voice mail.

My wife saw on the bottom of a WalMart receipt to call an 800 number or go to a website to enter a survey for a chance to win $1000! She went to the website and filled out the form with both of our our phone numbers and email addresses! They have been wearing out my cell phone ever since and from many many different numbers. I jumped the manager at Walmart about it and he claimed that he knew nothing about it, he said that all of the stuff printed below the total price is placed there from the home office in Arkansas over their network and all of their cash registers are connected to it. I've known this guy for several years, he is very active in my MIL's church and I don't think he would feed me a line about it. I ditched my email address she gave them and would get another phone number but chances are very good that the number I would get has already been picked up by a bunch of telemarketers and I would continue to get called. I think I'm going to log in to that website and give it a bunch of WalMart numbers and a bunch of Congress members' numbers too!
