received a call at 6:18pm on 6/27/2012 from this number but thought the exchange looked suspicious so didn't answer and of course no message was left so likely unwanted/unwelcomed spam/telemarketing

Got a call that said i need to go to a web site to recieve a $110 gift card for filling out a survey.

When I questioned her about who did the survey she got snippy and told me to go to the web site and follow instructions lol.

I of course hung up and tried to call the # back.  It comes up as being disconnected.

Obvious scam look out

The caller to my cell said they were from wakanetwork.com.  There is a website for this company.  A google search results in many results which include the word "scam".  The caller was very persistent that I had filled out a survey to win a $100 Wal-Mart gift card (I hate Wal-Mart....) or a free iPad.  Yeah right... good luck with that.

Anyhow, I indicated there were several people who could be reached at my number and asked which one of us had won the gift card.  Of course she didn't know and could only say that "someone" here must have entered.  Well, it's my cell and I'm the only one that uses it but she didn't know that.  This just proved further that these are random calls attempting to obtain information from anyone stupid enough to give it to them.

The woman said she was calling regarding the on-line survey I took.  I immediately told her I didn't complete any on-line survey, and to stop calling

They just called and said they're calling to say thank you because of some survey I filled out. Apparently, they're giving away $10 gift cards to Wal-mart and another $100 dollar gift card to somewhere else.

The girl on the other side of the phone was responding really incoherently. I would ask her something and she would reply after 5 seconds of silence. Really weird.

Same as many of the other posts.  Call rings and no one says anything.  I don't know anyone at this area code, I only answered because I thought it said 1-414 not 1-415.

This stupid mf'ers need to quit calling my phone at 7:30 in the morning...if they had any sense to them whatsoever they would know that it's against the law to call anyone before 9 AM or after 9 PM if they are trying to collect money or selling [***]!!!!!

Seriously! They called me at 6:05am! Isn't that against the law anyway? It is at least against the laws of human decency!

This outfit did the same; a call but did not leave a message.

I just received a call from this number.  I did not answer as it was outside of my area code.  They left no message, so it must not be important.  My solution for these type of calls is the following:  Yea the "no call list sucks"

1.  I take the number and add it to my contact with "Z" in front of it. Such as   Z 415 121 6432.  this puts it at the end of my contact list
2.  I change the ring tone for that contact to "no ring"
3.  I set up my phone so that missed calls has a "no ring"

Now when these suckers call back i don't hear it and it goes to missed call and at that point it just dies.  My phone always gives me a list of those that call & I missed just in case i missed an important one.

It's not the perfect solution but it does work.

They keep calling my cell phone number.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

they may have my cell# but they don't have my name or address. probably a random-dialing program to hit all numbers, listed or not. I can "block" the number from ringing, but it still goes to my voicemail....very annoying!

Got a call from them at 7am this morning.  Nice call to get after a late night of working.  Said I took a survey and they wanted to give me $110 in gift cards.  She asked how I was doing and I said, "Pissed and tired, it's early here."  She said, "I'm sorry for any inconvenience......blah blah blah".  Hung up on her.

have caller ID and will not answer a call that I do not know the number.  The do not call list has been a joke. Have filed twice and still getting these calls.  What up

Just like everyone else i got the call, but i found a 1800 number on this site and im harassing them now. Fyi i used to be a bill collector and this is a total scam they may have your number but thats, it. Never give them your personal info. I strongly suggest you call them back to make there day a little harder.

they called me at 7;15 a.m. on the 4th of July...woke me up!!  I called the number listed on one of the comments and gave it to the person that answered!  WTF!!!!!!!!!!
