I got this number on my home phone answer machine and not to delete the message his name was James martin from the IRS and I would be in big trouble and was told to get hold of my attorney or have him call my attorney.I called the number and came up on the answer machine that was advertisement for magic jack.what do I do about this number is it a scam

Yes, it is a scam.  Don't waste any time calling back.

The Scammer has moved on and has shut down his MagicJack account.

I also received similar message as others reported from 415_251-8341. The person has heavy accent and I can hardly understand what he said.

Same thing, same number.  Not to be racist but first, get a clue, would the IRS have people calling #1, then especially someone with an accent so heavy you couldn't understand them???   They called again and left another message, I could hear the old Microsoft scam going on in the background while my operator was not paying attention to leave a message.  So it must be the same group!!!
