This company called me and disguised themselves as the IRS and told me I would be arrested within 2 hours due to IRS issues.  I would like to know the name of this company.

Got four calls on Thursday morning from "Julie Smith" from the IRS, letting us know we needed to call them back promptly. When we called them, we got voicemail.

I hope these guys get a few years of jailtime for fooling with the IRS. Thanks to the person who posted the link where we can report them!

They have called me today repeatedly. I finally called back and couldn't even understand the [***] I was talking to.  Completely fraudulent!

Obviously an impersonation of a IRS "officer". Same threats as other posts along with "take care" in closing. Scary at first, with recent stories of IRS indiscretions in mind. After listening again it was clear that the message was a fake.

Got a fake IRS call from this number. When I called back they hung up on me then would not answer.

This is a threatening phone calls.

Got the same.  I hope they catch him.

I received a call from someone claiming to be IRS. When I checked the number, I saw it was in CA. I called it back and a man with an Indian accent answered. When I questioned what this call could be about, when the IRS is in PA, he hung up!!!!

Got the same phone calls this morning at
8 17 & 9 32 wanted a call back.

Got a message on my CELL phone from 415-506-1284 from Julie Smith saying I needed to call back from IRS so i called back and a guy answered saying i needed an attourney and all this other [***]... I ask him why he was calling my cell # and he said that was the number he had listed .. BS , I told him ,I dont give a damn what you do and hung up on him

Yet another call from the alleged Julie Smith from the IRS.  First of all, the IRS wouldn't call me by phone.  Secondly, they certainly wouldn't have said "take care" at the end of the call.  

I have received 2 phone calls from this number, claiming to be IRS. Both messages state that I must call back immediately or action would be taken. The 1st time I called back a man with an Indian accent answered. I questioned why the IRS would be calling me from CA when they were located in PA. He hung up. The 2nd call came in last night. I tried to return the call but was sent to voicemail.

Checked my voicemail. Received 3 automated calls from this number today, 11/07/2014, claiming to be an Officer Julie Smith with the IRS, and stating not to ignore the message, that action would be taken if I didn't return the call....

I received the same call.

Had this happen before..now again, person claims to be an IRS officer, directing the call at no one in particular..telling us to respond within once second, and something about having a lawyer respond..it is all quite hilarious when you think about it. When you do call the number, you get the same recording.

I forgot to mention that the caller ID shows that the number comes from Novato, CA..

Received same call (Julie Smith, IRS, etc.) only from 415-234-9489, also from Novato, CA. Reported to both the IRS and the FCC.
