These calls are repeatedly and from various numbers. The first call was at 6:24 a.m. The ninth and latest was at 12:01 p.m.  This is extremely annoying.

I had a call  from this number this morning 8:45 am.   I picked it up without any reason.  A guy was talking on the phone, and he was a Rep.  His accent and language was familiar for me because I already hanged out with some girls like that.  

He was Indian !

I asked my friend in telephone company and he said NEVER answer them, because they want just check your phone number to see if it is active either any body answer it or not, so they put your number in a white list and sale it to other Indian companies. ( like sale Emails )

Just answered this call - He said (with India/Pakistani accent) he was from Windows operating system (not Microsoft). I told him he was a scam artist and hung up

Just received a call fron this number about 10 mins ago.  It was a recorded message from a lady pretending to be WestJet, apparently my last plane trip with them got me entered into a contest... and I won! Lol $999 to go towards my next flight! Yeah.. I've never flown with WestJet in my life... its a SCAM!

I got the same call earlier today, with the same recorded message, in a female voice.

However the call was made to a phone that I have never used in connection with WestJet.

Definitely a scam. I hung up after the first 2 sentences.

Just rec'd a call from this number....hung up.

This person claims to work with OPG to get government grant to reduce energy. He said he works for Ontario Homes. He wants to make an appointment to come to my house to verify we qualify for the government grant.  I looked up OPG website but do not see anything about the gratn.
 I asked for his phone number and he gave me a 12 digit phone numbers that do not match any north america numbers I recognize.  He put me on hold and hung up after I asked him again for the phone number. Definitely scammers.

I received a call from this number which I did not pick up.

I just wish they would go away and never ever return.

i also received a call from this number and they say they work for microsoft.....like if this compagny has time to call customers one by one ...........and they call alot.....its a scamm

My caller id says the number that called is 416-628-7192,(didnt leave a message) and the 'caller' is 9374658908, which is interesting as this 2nd number is one a I answered a few days ago. At that point, a man with East Indian accent offered to lower my credit card interest rates. I asked him to remove me from their call list, as I am on the No Call List. He said he could only help me with the fact that I had pressed 1. I asked for a manager, then he agreed to take me off their list. I asked for the company name - he mumbled, I asked again, and the line went dead.

Apparently being on the Do Not Call List only prevents legitimate businesses from calling. The CRTC does nothing about scams, as far as I know. I've been emailing the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at info@antifraudcentre.ca. I don't know if it helps at all. I'd love to be part a sting to help find and stop these guys.

I mostly don't answer my phones unless I know the number displayed. I wait for a message and call back. If I ever get middle of the night junk calls like some of you get, I will unplug my landline overnight, and tell only my next of kin types to call/text my cellphone in case of emergency.

I also received a phone call however thing is they are now contacting cellphones as well so in regards of people on landlines there is no possibility to block these people weather by unplugging the phone or turning it off. best thing to do is report it and hope the government will put a block on these scams. I went on a cellphone where I wouldn't have to worry on people calling me to improve my landline services or other things. so in short just ignore the phone call or if like myself ask them crazy questions on example " what colour is the sky, or is a tire round" things like this will get their phone bill high. I then never had a call from them again cause I would waste their time not mine.

the number has been calling me for the past several months. I have voice mail but no message is left.

They phoned but would not wait for answering machine to finish.

Some guy with an accent tried to get me to turn on my computer because I have been sending out viruses. I told him wouldn't (It was in fact already on). He asked "well, what can I do?" I told him to get a legitimate job.

got a call from this number several consecutive times. ontario number, apparently.

message from Brian John from Canada revenue agency wanting my attorney or me to call them ASAP. they left a different number to call back though 613-651-0977 but it's an invalid number???

Called in regards to my computer.. at 6:50 a.m.!!!!!
