do not pick up the phone.  They are scammers.  When you do try to pick it up to tell them to [***] off, they hang up.  They are not affiliated with Toronto Star.  They are scammers, and probably wont get paid by their corrupt boss, for all the work they do. iF THEY DO SPEAK, SAY "IM CALLING THE POLICE RIGHT NOW ON YOU"  AND HANG UP ON THEM.  aLTHOUGH THE BEST THING TO DO IS, JUST DONT ANSWER.  The canadian government needs to ban this INVASION OF OUR PRIVACEY ACT BY THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just  don't answer, be aware of the number and just let it ring. Nothing can be done about it

I have an answer for them FOX Forty whistle. Once they hear this they will never call again . Caution put your pets out before engaging this whistle. Not sure what it is" NFL " uses this.

Nobody there when you pick up and no message left

Been  receivning cals from this number  almost daily.

I got this number calling me now I already dealt with one from Texas This number never calls me and I know that it is from Toronto. I don't know who they are but they can knock it off I will not answer numbers i do not know.  I didn't answer it so don't know who it is.

I answered. No response I stayed on the line for 33 seconds before they hung up. Nothing was said.

Stop calling

They keep calling my Grandmothers house every half hour every day 6-10x a day. She can barely stand on her own and her mobility is extremely slow. This infuriates her as it hurts to get up and answer a call where they just hang up on her. Or that she has gotten up and gone to the phone only to find out its them. She knows that because of her condition we worry when she doesnt answer when we check in to make sure shes ok so she always gets up to answer.  Is there nothing we can do to stop these people??

This is one of many calls I have had with this caller. I did not pick up at any time as I did not recognize the number. There were three times (I think) that they left a message saying that I owed money and I know for a fact that I do not. I decided to check out the number online and found out that I need to report this number. Today they left no message and as name of caller it states NCC INC.

Receive calls but no one answers when picked up. Who are these guys?

Just called the number- it is the Toronto Star [newspaper] subscription service. I suspect the calls are coming from a call centre.

Keep getting calls from this number

Do what I'm doing. Start calling them back and leaving nonsense messages. As many times a day as you can. I'm on call message 18 of 20 right now. I'm going to block their number so I don't receive calls from them anymore, but I plan to keep up this habit of harassing them, as they harass me. I'm aiming for 100 messages a day--see how they like it.
