got a call too suspect collection agency ( northumberland county collection ) ????

If it is a newspaper subscription why are they silent when you pick up the phone you can't sell subscriptions by being silent. I believe that it's more then that I don't know what but selling newspaper subscriptions it isn't it doesn't make sense.

This is a telemarketer for the Toronto Star... I have told them 3x in 1 week that I am not interested in their offer and they keep calling!!!!  I will be calling the Star to complain about this or some watchdog who can do something bout it!

Do not call registry paid for by our govt, is not working.

Does anyone know what the motive would be for them to call and hang up?  Seem there would be nothing to gain unless they were stalking you.

Got the same thing..  I've had 12 calls in the last week.  all around the same time... same thing.. nobody answers

Keep getting calls from this number. Call display shows NCC Inc. Very annoyed. I answered it once and there was just silence on the other end.

i got same no. call every day and toronto star marketing call too.

Tired of receiving calls from this number - Disconnects upon answering. I called the number only to get a recording with another number to call, which of course also goes through to a recording. Need to put a stop to these people.

Who are these people and why are they calling me?

I have received these calls too, but mainly when I am at work.  I have call display and can tell who it is when they call.  

May I suggest that you call the phone company and say you are getting calls from a stalker.  The tactics that they use could be considered by some as stalking, and therefore they should be blocked from your phone.  

Another way would be to call the police and tell them the same thing.  Maybe the police would be able to get them to stop making the calls, or at the very least, you would probably find out who is doing it and complain about their tactics to the DNC people.

NCC Inc with the above number calls my home 2 to 4 times per day.  there is no voice communication.
This is very annoying.

People with "degrees" , who( , pardon my grammar if I offend you, the NCC provided a job for when we were going after a degree, who (m)( not an Englsh major), your /our government "let go" at various times, without a thought about how we would survive.
The NCC helped me maintatin MY dignity, My self respect, by hiring me.
So go ahead, with all your negatity. Just pray that that newspaper Call Centre is still alive when your job goes South> TEE HEE

They helped me tiume and time again when all my "degrees" my "experience" in "my      various careers let me down.
So I am selling newspapers. YeH
To be a Registered Nurse again, although there is a great need for that, I have to pay major $$$$$$ to re-register.
To be a Social Worker, my other degree, they are lined up with the MSW"S etc , and, who cares about my experience in that field.
So, THANKS to the NCC, I have a job!
Before you cast stones, it would serve you to to look at all the disabled, aged, etc. etc that the NCC and others like them allow to havew some dignity.I hope they are still around when your wonderful place bites the dust.
PS I hang up on telemarketers too, so, don't feel guilty! It's my karma! TEE HEE HEE! LOL
