I just got my Rogers phone less than a month ago and just received the call.

My bill isn't even due yet, so I know it's not for money. If they're trying to get me to add services to me account, I hope they can take me off the calling list. I already pay ridiculous amounts for a horrible iPhone plan.

They call me at the strangest times on my cell phone!
I'm so angry, also with Rogers, also in Ontario. I can't believe there are this many people bothered by this number. In one day I was called three times and two days later I was called twice.
You know. Really getting sick of this!

This number is Rogers, and one of the reasons they call is for past-due accounts.  Yes, ours was past due, and yes, we needed the reminder.  However, I told "Roger" (yep, that was his name) it's very annoying to pick up the phone and find no one on the other end.  I said it was also annoying to have to use MY long-distance to call them to find out why they called me.  He did try to tell me the "system" may have detected dead air on my end, to which I responded how could my saying "Hello?" three times be dead air?  Anyway, if they're calling you about late accounts, they are allowed to.

The number is definitely from Rogers accounts receivable calling with a "show me the money!!"

As usual I got call from this #. When I call back no one responding.

I seem to be getting this number as well. However a family member who also has Rogers gets them as well. My bill is a little over due but the family member is always caught up on payments. I will have to go with Scott(page 1, near the bottom) on this one in my situation, but what about my family member?

this # is rogers accounts receivable, they call u if ur late on ur bill. They start to call if they dont receive payment 2 days after the due date

This number call me always at the same time in the day and 2-3 time in a week.. and it's be 3 weeks that they're calling me. i've never anwser it because a got a same problems with a other number view month ago.. i'ts became really frustrating.. they never leave a voice mail.. i think that's maybe the cause is rogers.. because everyone with rogers got that call..

They called twice today - once at 9:47am, and once at 5:00pm. I have to stop entering these online contests where they say they will not release my personal information - and they still do!!

I just recently purchased an iPhone from Rogers, ever since I have been recieving calls from this number just like what all of you have said.

I get this call on my cell...and my cell is not with rogers...however I have other rogers products....I am calling them and telling them to remove me from their list as I have registered many months ago with the do not call list.  I may just report them to the CRTC however....this is the first time they have called me....maybe I give them this one break but if the call again then I will report them.

ok everyone it is rogers...I didn't owe them anything and the customer service rep thinks it might have been a "courtesy" call however....I started that all my numbers are on the do not call list...I have called and asked rogers to put me on the do not call list long time ago and....I have asked your telemarket once before to take me off your call  list.....please make sure this time it is done or I will make a complaint
The rep had me on the line for a couple of mins while she set all this up and informed me that for them it can take up to two wks to have me removed.
However getting in touch with customer service I waited 10 mins before there was a rep available.

I recieve this same number calling me on average 3-4 times a day for the last few months. I am also on Rogers for all services and my bill is paid as it always is. Very annoying for whatever purpose it serves. Tempted to change to a different provider.

Yep. Same here. Irritating isn't it? Maybe it's time to switch companies.

This number just called us as well. It was indeed Rogers. They wanted to verify that everything went smoothly with our handset upgrade.

This number is calling all the time. 4 times a day and like all the other messages say, there is nobody on the line and messages are never left if I don't pick up. They are also calling my home number 2 times a day....

I get calls from this number all the time too, and as soon as my cell phone stops ringing, my land line rings! i have no patience or time to sit there and wait for some bozo to come on the line, when THEY are the ones calling ME! grrr! very annoying!

i havent used rogers since a cell phone i had with them in late 2005 and i transferred the contract to someone else and paid my last bill. the phone number i use now i got close to 2 years AFTER i last used rogers. for the past two weeks i've been missing 3-4 calls a day from this number but don't have time to deal with it. needless to say its really annoying.
