- CarmellaIt's Rogers calling to welcome you to their company. It's most likely happening to new customers and it won't count against your minutes. I just called them to verify because I was getting these calls too!
- Caller: Rogers
- Michael JohsonTwo weeks after activating a Rogers pay as you go account, I was called on my land line by someone at this number to welcome me to Rogers. He claimed that I had charged a $100 voucher to my credit card (I hadn't), and also asked me for my pin no., which I didn't give. This is an obvious scam by someone who must work for Rogers, and has access to inside information. I have now set my Bell call screen to reject this number in future.
- W.T.keeps calling and calling 6 am , midnight, and thru out the day time very annoying......leaves no message just a irritant calling
- honicholy cow...this # call my cell and my home, very annoying...but when i pick up noone answer...very werid !!
- MelissaI constantly get telemarketers calling my cell phone. I am starting to wonder if Rogers is release customer information. i just got a call from this number and 2 minutes before that i got a call from 1-773-966-1026.....WTF!!!
- Caller: Rogers
- LucyIt's Rogers calling because your account is "past due". The "dead air" is the pause before the recording kicks in: it's an autodialler. My opinion is this: if I forget to pay my bill by the due date, and they charge me $8 and change in late fees (which they do), then they can wait until the NEXT due date to get my payment for all of it! After all, they've charge me a fee to have that option extended to me, as far as I'm concerned. But of course, they'll call 4 or 5 times each day to annoy you, and sometimes they'll block their number display to try to fool you. Take my advice: don't try to argue with these chimps. Hit ignore, try not to forget to pay your bill by the due date, and keep browsing the web for better deals from other less-annoying providers.
- Caller: Rogers
- paddyhongjust have your phone filter that number out the door..
- Caller: Rogers
- Monika BThey have been calling me in the middle of the night and early morning. I also have a rogers phone
- Bell Mobility CS workerHey Guys, I work for Bell mobility, I have a Eastlink phone and a bell cell (Nothing to do with rogers) Working for bell as a customer service rep, I know what this number is, as I have dealt with this call from people like you everyday. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! It is a group of Indians (From India) that will tell you that you got a credit for a new phone, they then will fish for personal info, the re-direct to Rogers is a SCAM, it is only Call Forwarding to rogers and nothing else.
The reason you dont hear anyone is because they are from india.....Wait like 10secs, then you will hear someone, just takes time because of the delay.
Just know guys, either Rogers or Bell, any employee has ALL your info in front of them, asking info is a scam!
Ask them for what dept they work for in Rogers, then tell them you will call that dept back..... That will prove the scam when rogers tells you they have no record of that department calling you.
The only Dept that would EVER call you for free stuff (So fuking rare its a joke) Would be the Loyalty Dept.
Please email me if you got questions mmaranger@gmail.com- Caller: "Rogers"
- RogerCustomerIt is Roger's. I called the number and got their customer service line. I have two Roger's accounts and paid the wrong one...so the other was in arrears...hence the calls.
Customer service rep helped my combine the accounts, got a 5% discount for doing so and they assured me the calls would stop...we'll see!!!- Caller: Roger's
- BELL CS REPGuys, this is NOT AR!!!! (Accounts Receivable)
ALL AR/Customer service/Loyalty/Tech support, are ALL 1800,1866,1877 numbers... NOTHING ELSE!
ITs call forwarding, I can call forward my cell to rogers too, not hard lol.
These people will talk to you, just wait 10seconds, its NOT a computer. To the people that say, "I CALLED THE NUMBER AND PAID MY BILL, ITS LEGIT!!!"
**BUUUZZZ** WRONG!!!!! Yea it is Rogers when the number is call forwarded lol thats why your payment went through. Part of the Scam, we got the SAME people with bell, but the number is a 416-111 number.....
As a bell employee, I was able to send a complaint off to the head office, heard nothing back yet.....- Caller: Scammer
- @RogerCustomerAsk a Roger CS rep to search CC directory.... (Its a document that shows EVERY rogers Dept so CS reps can trans people through) No number?? hmmmm
Ask Rogers to check the Memos on your account, EVERY time you call, no matter for what!, or ANY time a cell company calls you, a memo AUTO generates in the system.... Most reps will tell you don't worry.... Because they really don't know... Ive been a rep for 2 years!! I KNOW!!!!!
The scam is to have the phone call forwarded to rogers as they sleep.....
Anyone can forward there phone to ANY number.... NOT HARD GUYS!!!- Caller: Rogers
- GreggI called the number and I received a Rogers automated voice message. It asks me if I want to pay a bill, add a service etc. It's a Rogers telemarketing number.
- Caller: ROGERS
- MarburyYea, itsi from rogers, Fxxx Rogers, my contract is gona expire and they want me to renew it !~ of ocouse~~ I will definitely NTO renew it, it si really anoying~~~ they call me everyday ~ anybody knows how to bloc this numbe r?
- PhreakerI've figured out what it is. It's an auto dialler set up by rogers. When you purchase a new phone, they ask you if they can call you to check up on how service was, and if you're happy with it. Unfortunately, Rogers gear is pretty low tech, and it often takes up to thirty seconds before the auto dialler forwards you to a human. Next time you get called, just pick up and hang on the line, eventually, someone will pick up then remove you from the call list.
- kkI am from BC, this phone no. called me everyday in the afternoon.
- CwildPay your bills you bums or grow a pair and stop being so paranoid and just answer the phone. It's easy to stop the calls if you answer them.
- maltonjetI have just started receiving calls from this number...I have a rogers pay as you go phone...so there's no bill to pay. The first one happened last night. I've never gotten calls from it before and now suddenly this started. I'm certainly not answering it on my cell, last thing I'm doing is paying both airtime and long distance to listen to the call center calling. [***] if it is Rogers then they can call me on THEIR OWN DAMM NETWORK and not slam me with the ridiculous charges.
- Caller: Rogers?
- ShelleyI have been getting this same # calling quite often as well, but unlike most of the other people on here, I do not have a Rogers phone, or anything else connected to Rogers... I have not yet answered the call because I do not know the # and thought maybe they would leave a message.
- Lisaconsidering my bill comes out automatically - it's nothing to do with NOT paying my bill
