Saw missed call no message left

this number keeps calling...no message

Optima on behalf if scotiabank.  If you call back the number, there is an option to leave a message.  You know, like, quit calling me !

So, so, tired of this number calling often and not leaving messages.
Call at different times.
They are becoming a real pain.
If it was important, a message would be left.
WE ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST BUT RECEIVE TOO MANY CALLS.

this number call me just ask my name and hang up, is there some risk, worried ....

This number has been calling my phone a lot in the last 2 weeks.  I answered a female said hello I said hello and she hung up.  So my question is if this is a legitimate company trying to sell life insurance and affiliated with Scotia Bank and more than likely making a commission off every new client they sign up she had her opportunity when she had me on the phone why did she hang up on me? Seems odd to me.

we  got   some insurance   stuff in mail  from  Scotia  Bank  so    from what   others  are  saying   .. they  (company thru  scotia ) is  probably   trying to     call to  find  out why  you  are not  interested if you   did not   respond to the  mail..  ..  if I  want a  service I will   find it myself  not   take it  from   people   who  bother   me..   so    disliking   how   banks  share   my info..

called 830 pm…2 rings and quit. If this is how they do business I suspect someone is payed to make calls and is paid per call, so waiting to see if someone answers cuts into their profitable time spent annoying people. FYI caller, on the off chance anyone this is your 'ee and  you give  a S**t, I wouldn't buy what you are pitching if it came with a free basket of puppies.

they did it to me too! calling me too many times. never call them back. its a scam.

I received 2 calls from these people so far twice in the last week. I'm suspicious because people are writing posts that they suspect its fraud and people are posing themselves as Scotiabank. I recently had my information from a Scotiabank credit card stolen and now these calls after I have been alerted to this fraud. It seems suspect and apprehensive. I refuse to answer. Do not give these people any of your information in the event they are trying to get information to gain access to your accounts. Beware!

This number calls my cell phone EVERY day, different times, never leaves a message. I NEVER pick up, if I don't recognize the number. My Scotia Bank teller also tells me that there are NUMEROUS scams going around, and this is no doubt one of them. DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. Wish my cheap Android phone had a "block caller" function. The calls are SO annoying, my boss made me lock my phone in my locker.

Looking to talk to a family member claiming it was regarding something private and quickly hung up on me after that. It was clearly a scam. We're with Scotiabank too

They call every other day. I don't answer and won't answer. I've added my number to the "do not call me" list at: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/
They stopped for a while but lately are calling again.  Annoying.
