Duct cleaning call, report them if you are on the do not call registry!!! Based on my call they know we are on there but apologize and hang up!

This number called today for the first time. I wan't home to answer and they didn't leave a message. I found it's best to answer telemarketers and tell them to take me off their list. That usually works and I get very few telemarketer calls now. They sell and exchange lists so if you get your name removed from as many as possible it cuts down on calls. I never get more than 1 or 2 calls a month and it's usually less. I say politely, "Please remove my name from your list" and I don't hear from them again. When they sell that list my name, hopefully, won't be on it.

This company has called me 5 times in the last week.  3 times no one speaks.  2 times they try to sell - I believe duct cleaning.   Both times they spoke I told them we are on the Do Not Call List and told them not to call.  First time lady simply hung up.  2nd time (today) they guy apologized then hung up.

What can be done about these [***]? The government certainly won't help. In fact, I think the famous
"Do no call List" is the list that they are using to call us. Thanks to us for compiling that list free of charge for them.

Answered the call but nobody there.  Called back and got Bell message "this number is not in service".

Would like to learn how to block calls.  Help, anyone?

Wow - this company is persistant.  The guy can barely speak english and that angers me so much.  You're calliny my house trying to sell me something but you yell louder to try and get me to understand when I tell you I don't understand.  Get your stuff together.  I asked some information about this guy.  Wanted to know if the technicians were certified or bonded and he said they had business cards.  I asked where the head office was located and he told me 3631 Haven Glenn Crescent in Mississauga and the main number was 905-698-0166.  I asked how long they were in business and he said 14 years.  I asked for the website which he said www.homecareexperts.com - however when I went to the site it was up for sale.  Hard to believe they've been in business for 14 years and still don't have a website.  I'm on the DNC list and this company phones me at least once a month.  I've asked to be removed several times but obviously this company doesn't play by the rules.  He quoted my house for duct cleaning at $135.00 CASH to be paid to the technican, however, I could pay the HST by cheque if I wanted too.  Interesting...

That's awesome just like someone else who suggested if you have a portable phone going next to the toilet and flushing it

these people just don't get it.  I told them many times that I have electric heat and to stop calling.  got another call last night.

Here's a sure-fire way to know if a call is bad, and it works if you have call waiting which has the special ring for long distance incoming calls. If you hear the long distance ringtone but the number on the display is a local number for you, it's spoofed and is probably from India.

Strong Indian accent. Kept arguing with me that I was a customer and had used them before for duct cleaning. I have never owned a home and never had a company clean my ducts. I told him to remove my number from his database or next time he calls I would file charges of criminal harassment. He didn't seem intelligent enough to comprehend that.

We've just received a call that a business is using our name to book duct cleaning appointments in the Sudbury, Ontario area and want people to be aware that we are not making these phone calls. We will not ask you to pre pay a $120 amount to get a deal. If you do want a duct cleaning, call a local reputable company to ask questions and to book this service. We want to help protect our customers.

Yes they called here and we were just warned tonight on our news that they were in our city again and they are phonies. It is for Air duct cleaning service and they call and give the name of a reputable company in the city where they are working so you thing they are legit but they are not and yes they do change their phone numbers often. You have to be careful with these guys. They even showed them on the news. They drive a white truck with Air duct cleaning service but no company name on the truck......area 416 for their area code was given.

they call me every couple of days for the last 6 years.  Unbelievable... same guy too... I'm like dude... you've been calling me for years... I feel like I know you.

Received this call and did not response.  Thanks for those reported this.  I don't have to entertain another telemarketer's call.
