Got two calls from this number within two days, didn't pick up. No message.

They just called me too. I didn’t answer either. Prob a scam

They know your name and won't confirm it. Claiming to be from your credit card company, they refuse to provide further details. It's a scam! Do not share your personal information with them, as they aim to gather more details from you.

I accidently gave out my information but I am pretty sure this is scam. They pretend they are working  with td bank and knows your name already for some reason

I had so many missed/not answered calls from this number. Nice/way too nice lady calls about protection on TD credit card. I told her not interested as I am cancelling the card. Next time I will play a game with her.

They have called me every day for the past two weeks. I never pick up

Why doesn't anyone just answer the call to find out who it is?   Call back gets "thank you for calling Citi Bank credit card.  We were calling to tell you about an important option that's available to you." I don't know if this is actually Citi Bank or a potential scammer spoofing the number but once you know what the call is about you can choose to ignore it, block it, or even call Citi Bank using their published number or the number on your CC to find out.

It’s scam. Don’t pick up their calls. They keep calling and you’ll be thinking if there are important things from them. But NO! It’s a scam!

This number calls me for more than 6 times in total. They started calling in mid-December 2023, and I still receive their call in end of December. They call about twice a day. I never pick up as I  think they are suspicious. If there’s something urgent and important, they can leave a voicemail but they never did so. Or they can also email me right?

Also, there’s a very similar number from 416-874-1392. They called in early December and I picked up their call they said they’re from TD. They are able to tell your name to trick you to think they’re real (idk how they get my name and phone but it’s easy nowadays). They just call to try to get more personal information from us. So be careful of these two numbers.

Just don’t pick up any calls to protect yourself.

Has called me twice a day since Dec 18, as well as from 416-874-1392. Both scams.

What did you do further ? I did the same mistake today

just gave out my information to them, i would recommend calling td right away to try to prevent fraud

Scam, pretend to be from your credit card company

Been called three times. No message left.
They are persistent. If it was important I figure they would leave a message.

scam they called knowing my first name the girl seem shocked i picked up. they clam to be from td credit card insurance trying to provide me a credit report. banks always tell you they’ll never reach out over the phone. when trying to get my consent i said no multiple and she kept trying. just block the number and don’t answer

This number have been calling me everyday since early December and I never answer until  a few days ago I answer and say nothing. Today I answer and didn't say anything then I guy says hello and is this (my name) and I said who wants to know. Then a lady come s on say and said the same thing and I ask who wants to know. She says she is calling from TD Credit card and wants me to sign up with something about getting my monthly credit report. I told  her I was not interested and she still keep insisting and asking for personal information. I just hang up.

I accidentally gave out my email, should I be concerned do you think?

They called several times a day for several weeks, when picked up they did not speak. They also call under phone number 4168741392. Likely scam, avoid providing personal details

It’s absolutely a scam. It’s AI generated voice reading from a script. I answered once but didn’t have time and I got the feeling it was a scam. Answered again today, after multiple calls a day for multiple days, and it was the exact same script and inflection from the voice. AI is getting crafty and the scammers know how to work the system.
Avoid giving them personal details and if you try to divert the conversation away from their script and it hesitates, then you’re not speaking to a person

It isn't AI it is a simple soundboard. There is nothing "crafty" about it unless you want to include your sci fi fantasy.

Technically you are. They are also on calls to upwards of 5 other people which is why they sometimes lag in pressing the correct recording to answer your question.

ya she had the cheek to tell me that if I dont give her my name she will have to disconnect the call because she cannot give information if she doesn't know who she is speaking to! So I could have said that my name is Rose Petal and then she would believe me? Wonder who pays these people!
