he said he is calling from behalf of scotia bank and wants you to buy life insurance.

got a call from this number yesterday but it's not the 1st time. i have had them call like 3 other random times, but i never answer. very annoying

optima communications on behalf of scotiabank life insurance DO NOT AWNSER the wife did a few years ago it was some woman that coudn't speak english and said no i dont want it she's been paying every month since and no signature nothing.call 416 581 1236 and get off thier list cause they will sign you up for insurance even if you say you dont want it.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  The last time they left a really weird message that sounded like a pocket dial from a party or something (random muffled people talking, laughing and weird high pitched noises).  DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE AT THIS NUMBER.  It is most likely some sort of scam and definitely nobody professional.

I just this number all the time, anyone know who it is? If i answer that dont say anything

This is Optimum Life on behalf of Scotia Bank Financial.  They are trying to sell insurance.

Calling now for 4 days. they did it before too months ago. Picked up the phone and left in ftont of the TV for 15 min during "Jeopardy" I hope they learned some useful things

Get it al the time, if you Bank with Scotia and they have your phone number it is a call center trying to see you Scotia Life Insurance.

Everyday this # calls my cell.  I don't even know how they got my # as it's unlisted. I continue to 'decline' the call but the keep calling back.

Call is from Life Insurance Company I believe with Scotia Life something something ... Just ignore ...

recieved call from this number and they said they are calling from Scotia bank . It is I think from call center . This is SCAM

I get called from this number at least 5 times a week.  I am tired of it.  I tried to call them back and there is no answer.  I do not want to get another call from this number.  

Legally if I tell them not to call again they have to abide by that demand.

I've been getting calls from this number, all hours of the night and day, and as late as 10:45 p.m., which is ridiculous.  Wish I could block this number from my cell phone.  They NEVER answer when I pick up, and once, last week, I was able to leave a message (some Scotia Branch office), but no actual return call.  I delisted my cell phone number, and still these calls come.

This number calls me about 2-3 times a day and its really starting to get annoying. Everytime i answer theres no one on the other end and if i call back who ever it is just hangs up on me.

Got a call from them too. Didn't pick up. I bank at Scotiabank so maybe it's some kind of telemarketing from a 3rd party company that bought the bank's (our) numbers.
