It is a debt collector it's called "Receivable performance management"

My story is a little bit deeper than just a random call from this number asking for information or collecting a debt.
This is my story.  One day a friend called me, so i thought.  Upon my cell phone ringing a well known name from my contact list poped up onto the screen.  The name on the screen said Matthew Bowen.   When i answered the phone i was suprised when a woman anawered saying she was trying to collect a $10,000 debt from the local courts system.  Confused at the moment it slipped my mind that when she called my friends name matthew bowen had come onto my cell phone screen.  It wasnt until later when this person called me back again that i realized , why did my friends name come from this number on my contacts list from my phone.   I hung up the phone and then looked at my contacts list and found my friends contact phone number.  I was surprised to see that there was not only his name in my phone once but 2 times as contacts.  I presses the send button and the first contact number dialed his house.  So i hung up.  The second contact number under his name that was titled work confused me.  Only because i know he dose not work and second i know i didnt add this second number into my phone contacts.  So i decided to look through my call logs and was amazed to see that i had infact had a total of 15 calls from this 425-276-8682 phone number with the name of my friend saved to it in my contacts list.  Many of these calls were more that 5-10 minute calls.  But how?  I was only aware of 2 times this number had called until now.  Shortly after that my friend calked me.  It was matthew bowen and he started immeditally saying something about how he had been recieving calls from a number that was asking about my persional information.  Also how we were owed money for something.  I wasnt sure what he was talking about.  Upon ending that call i tried calling performances managements back again and the number was disconnected.  Its been about 2 months now and that number is still disconnected.  Wonder if my friend matt has anything to do with this?

i am getting notification like 6 times a day in my true caller in the block list, i dont know how they got my number i am getting calls daily. for sure this is scam moreover they gonna record and save our voice and use for identity theft,. be careful guys just block and report spam and say to all your friends.

I have asked these people several times to stop calling me and to take me off their call list.  Yet they still persist.  I thought there was a do not call list that companies are required to comply with if you ask.

I have been getting these calls on a daily basis for weeks, never answering them. I got one this morning so I answered it. Lady asked my name and asked me my address. Before telling her anything, I asked who,s calling and she gave me her name. I said, What is this, A business? She said financial services something( couldn't really make out what she said). I couldn't get a straight answer so I hung up and blocked the number. When they left me messages on my phone it was just dead air.

Multiple phone calls to myself and my wife. We only have one joint account, a bank account, no bills or anything like that, so scammers. So I play along and play stupid. Give them false info, that i keep changing through phone call. All that to waste their time and make it less time to bother someone else.

So a rude “lady” called asking for my husband.

Said she was from RPM, I asked her what it was regarding but she refused to speak to me.

They call all the time every day for me and do not say how they are but it is important call

Keep calling... I answered once and could not understand them nor could they answer a simple question who they were.

They call me at least 4 times a day no one there or a lady answered and refers me to someone who I have to wait for!

I decided to have a little fun with them, when I feel like it. they ask me to verify the info. My answer to all their questions is "  do you eat crap, or I  gotta poo poo and there aint no toilet paper, and always laugh loudly. believe it or not , the calls have not stopped, but slowed down a lot

Is it a credit bureau? Theyve been calling me for days numerous times but I've been taking care of issues with my credit so I did t think it was that. But this is ridiculous after reading all these comments, total harassment and I wont be answering their calls. If it's that important they will leave a message

They call 7-8times a day!!! Annoying as hell & wishing these [***] would get cancer from robocalling people who ARENT INTERESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is some kind of scary! They called MY cell phone number, which is only mine, asking for my mom, they have the address correct, but I told them that she doesn't live here, and then they called the landline asking for my mom again. They get told off, but continue to call at least 10 times a day.

They have been calling me over a month. They leave a voice mail from a lady using broken English. Stating they are the IRS. When I call them back they ask personal information that the IRS would already know.

Yeah that happened to me to what a scam i am angry i had a call at 1 am in night hate them i agree with you

Some chick in an Asian accent answered when I said hello. Asked if I was (insert name). I said yes. She then repeated my name and asked again if I was (insert name). I said yes, again. She then said, I am connecting you with some guy, I missed his name. Then another guy got on the phone and asked me again if I was (insert name). I said yes. He asked me if I was living at (insert address). I asked what this was in regards to and he said he would tell me after I verified who I was. I said no, you tell me what this is in regards to. He again refused until I verified my address. I asked if this was a collection agency. He replied, yes, Receivable Performance Management. I asked again what this was in regards to. He refused again. I told him since this is a collection call then I am stating this is a cease and desist. Do not call me again. If you need to contact me you can do so through the mail. He said, okay ma'am but I hung up before he could say anything else. Then I blocked the number. By law, once they verify it is you on the phone they are required to tell you what company they are and what the call is in regards to. I hate collection agencies who try to use intimidation tactics. Scum. Absolute scum.
