I'm on the Do Not Call registry and still got a call from these folks.  Obviously a scam.

I just got a call from them.  I answered, but they didn't say anything.  I'm on the Do NOT Call List as well.

Calls both to home and cell phones from this number.  I always hang up but was so fed up this time that I called my cell phone provider.  The rep couldn't find a way to block the number from my phone except to purchase a $5/month service that allows call blocking.

I use to get calls from this number before periodically.  Always the same if you answer; Silanece.  Some kind of scam of course... not sure what or how if you never speak to someone, but perhaps they are fishing for an open line or something?  anyways,  its started again after about a year reprieve.

I did recently post something on Craigslist for sale - which I did over a year ago too.  Perhaps thats where they glean numbers from, amongst other places.

I got a call from them and I think it is a scam!  I answered the call and an automated message came on saying it was from Card Services and can offer me 6% on my existing credit card.  So I pressed 1 to talk with a guy and he wanted to know if I had 12,000 in debt or more and a rate higher that 12% but current and not over the limit.....Sounded to me he was fishing for someone who still had good credit and high card limits.  When I asked if this was a balance transfer offer and he said no, that I would keep my same card and number just get a lower rate but I could tell he wasn't with MY credit card company.  Do NOT give this or anyone from this number your info!

Returned the call to a busy signal, called again from cell phone and they say they are a DNC system and to enter the phone number to be put on DNC.

Called my cell phone. Since I didn't recognize the number I did not answer. Added number to my blocked list.

Missed a call from this number on Dec. 5. Called it back. Auto answer said it was from 'Do Not Call' Registry and they said to register my number press one. I pressed one then auto message said type in my phone number. I hung up. To my knowledge, the Do Not Call Registry is run by the FCC. The FCC does not call anyone soliciting them to sign up. Noticed on list of reports that this number was also associated with offers to lower your credit card interest rate. I received two of those calls last month telling me to 'act fast.'

This is a phishing service. The Called Party Numbers and time of day for calls that are answered are collected and sold to marketing firms. They sometimes use this in conjunction with another service, such as Debt Consolidation, so they can try to make a sale on that first phone call that is answered. Regardless, the real value to this caller is knowing that you will answer your phone, and the time of day you answered. That information can be sold for profit.

Got a call on my cell today @ 10:56am from them and ignored it. Called the # back just now and got a busy signal.

Called me cellphone and left no answer. Very Fishy and Strange!

I'm tired of this abuse.  I've registered with the national DO Not Call list, but they still come thru.  I actually answered the phone today, pressed # 1 and when a human came on line I asked them to stop calling...then she hung up on me.
