I donated blood once in 2008 and b/c I did that they are now calling me again 10 years later. EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY
this is just ridiculous.

They call multiple times a day. It is very annoying and I am tired of it. They never leave a message.

It's Bloodworks, right now they are having a Type-O blood shortage so they are trying to get people to donate. They are not very good at using their auto-dialer.

Call 8003662831 and request your number be removed from the call list. Tell them you will make your own appointment.

I'm a type O- and have already donated to the Red Cross. I also no longer live in areas served by Bloodworks Northwest, so this is just getting annoying.

It's because Bloodworks NW has a donor center in Eugene..Lane Blood Center is part of Bloodworks

If you have ever donated to the blood bank or had other business relations with them you are on their " and the "do not call" registry does not apply because you have a pre-existing business relationship with them. It's the way the law works. The "Do not call" list only applies to businesses trying to make a first-ever contact.

Within state and federal consumer protection laws a consumer has the right to tell any business that is calling to DO-NOT-CALL. That includes any pre-existing business relationships. Plus it makes good business sense to not tick off the consumer!

I have never donated to Puget Sound Blood Center - as I live in Junction City Oregon. I don't answer the phone when I don't recognize the number, but whoever it is, calls from around 7 am until 8:30 pm. Never leaves a message, just hangs up. Really, really irritating.

I live in Eugene Oregon and PBSC calls me every day. I have a spam filter on so I never answer but for the love of God, just stop calling! I have never given blood in Seattle, so WHY are they calling me?

I last donated blood 7 years ago in Oregon. I had a seizure afterward (I'd donated blood for years and this was my first adverse event). Long story short, I can't even donate any more. I also have never lived anywhere remotely near the Puget sound blood bank. However they hound me daily every few years until I answer and request to be removed from the list permanently. Then it abates for a while but eventually always starts up again...

No longer live in WA. My donation experience was great, but this calling is off the charts annoying. I swear they stopped for a while but are back at it. They never leave a voice mail and don't bother responding to my phone's screening program, which is somehow *WORSE* than the average spam call. Coming here to find they've been doing this for over a decade is infuriating. Can't recommend people donate here without warning about this.
