Yesterday, at 18:11 Pacific, I received a text-message from this number, stating:

ONTARIO FINES: You have (1) unpaid parking violation ticket.

1. I have never driven any vehicle in Ontario.
2. I doubt that anybody has created a license-plate that matches mine.
3. I doubt that just ONE ticket will cause a license suspension.
4. Of course, it is stated to be "crucial" -- don't give me time to think about it.
5. The message was received on December 17th -- a few days after the deadline.
6. That domain-name was registered on 12/8/2025 (MM/DD/YYYY), namely just a few days ago, for the minimum time (one year).
7. The DNS-servers for the domain are at CloudFlare.com -- but those DNS-servers have *NO* results for the domain-name.
8. The "437-882" area-code & exchange-code is for cellular phone-numbers in the Greater Toronto area -- probably NOT an official government office.
9. So, the web-site to "pay the fine" is not available.
