Got the same Sunrocket DID 443-313-1381 Collection Service

Supposed to be on no call list and this number calls - caller ID says SunRocket Did

Portfolio Recovery Services - trying to collect from someone who previously had this number.

block their number from your phone. You can do that on your cell too. Thats what I did, it rings once and if they are not in my contact list, which they are not, it automatically hangs up on them. I love it.
Give them a taste of their own medicine.

This is bullcrap! I got this number today and wondering why they calling. I can't hear 'em anyway but I had my mom ask them if they got tty (special telephone text for deaf and hard of hearing). my mom said there was bunch of ppl in the background... hmm strange ppl

It is Portfolio Recovery. These morons have hundreds of numbers they call from.

What you describe are multiple violations of the FDCPA.  Saying you are a law firm when you are not is a violation.  Saying there is a pending case when there is none is a violation.

Portfolio Recovery calls our home continuously. We began recieving calls from Sunrocket DID. Like others have mentioned. When you answer there is no one on the line. We've asked for documents from the primary det collector and have not recieved anything! These guys are a joke!

Haven't gotten a call before today from this number but this evening (about 7 pm local AZ time) the caller ID said "SUNROCKET DID" and they did not leave a message.

I just for s**ts grins and giggles called the number back on my cell phone and I got an automated answering service for Portfolio Recovery Services, which is a debt buying company that purchases old, expired beyond statute-of-limitations "debt paper" for pennies on the dollar and then tries to collect however they can by subterfuge, intimidation, scare tactics, threat of bogus legal action etc. Any money at all these people make is pure profit for them as the original debtors have written the debt off and have probably taken tax credits for it. IMO people like this should not be in business. There ought to be a law or laws shutting this "industry" down. This is one reason I have an answering machine with caller ID screen my calls. Plus caller ID can be spoofed so I usually Google a number like this and also sometimes (not always) call them from my cell phone # which I give out to NOBODY except family and close friends and even then not all of even them.

I was home when they called and answered, they were trying to collect on a debt over 9 yrs old. I told them to send me the information on the debt to verify it was mine and they agreed. I also said any further communications were to be done by mail only. Their reply was that they needed it in writing so i got their address and mailed it to them and the calls have since ended. The statute of limitations on the debt was 5 years which has expired. Meaning they can't take me to court. :)  That is how you end those annoying calls.

Thank you, Tessa! Fortunately, we have Caller ID and don't answer anything that we don't recognize.  But I am so grateful to have these numbers. That page repeatedly wouldn't print (makes you wonder if they hacked it), but I wrote every last one down by hand. Thankyou again!

Been getting daily calls from Sunrocket DID with 443-313-1381.  I have reported this number to the Federal Trade Commission.

These ppl have been calling me non stop!  One possible way to get them to stop is a cease and desist letter. I got some info on it on About.com. If they continue to call you, you can take punitive action against the debt collector! Hope this helps!

this number calls me caller id said sunrocket did portifolio recovery calls me too at about 8:05am every day. why would these people think i have a pencil and paper in my hand when i answer the phone , please hold and a representative will be with you shortly, WHATEVER
or please return a call to ..... and be ready with this number and they speel out a 20 digit number for you WHATEVER
