The same thing happened with me, i was charged Rs. 5 for registering my soni ericsson phone somewhere. I would like to know what kind of a registration is this- if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.. Thanks!

Jeg modtog pludselig en sms, hvor de spurgte, om jeg ville lade mig registrere hos dem, og jeg svarede ja til dette, men på intet tidspunkt blev jeg gjort opmærksom på, at dette ville koste mig 3dkk, nu er 3dkk jo ikke nogen herregård, men det er princippet i det, at man tror man tilmelder sig noget, som ikke koster noget, og når det så viser sig, at det gør det, så er det bondefangeri, og hvad skal man bruge det til?

I suddenly received a text message, where they asked me, if I would like to register with them, SE. I agreed, but at no point was I made aware, that agreeing to let them register me, would cost me £0.25.

In itself, £0.25 isn't a bundle of money, but it is the principal, that you are beeing charged, for something, which you think is free, and then later it turns out, that it isn't, which ticks me OFF!

I have ben charged DKK 3,25 for the famous SMS to Sweden. I talked to the Sony Ericsson support. He explaned why they do it : "So we can make the registration on your phone". It is not for the benifit of the customer, but for sony ericsson!!

I have just had a charge on my sony ericsson with vodafone for a message to this number and complained and had it refunded. Still was not told what it was to do with though.

Hello, I've been charge (1,99nok) for sms to mentioned no. Which I didn't sms or know this no. at all. somebody know who own this no.???

I just want to inform that their in the year 2010 still are being charged from the mentioned number. If you buy a new one of their (Sony Ericsson) phones, you will receive a popup message that asks whether you want to register with the phone or not. If you say "yes" to this it costs you 4 Danish kroner.
But this cost will not be informed about the cost of this.
