Same over here, received text message, would like to buy car posted it autoscout.
Required paying with PayPal, be aware, SCAM !!!

Heb hetzelfde mailtje gekregen,dacht ga die gast toch eens google en wat is het eerst dat ik zie !!!
heeft het iets uitgemaakt toen je er mee naar de politie bent gestapt??

Kreeg vandaag sms van +46737494577 met de vraag een mail te sturen naar walton.bernanke7@hotmail.com voor de aankoop van mijn wagen. Vertrouwde de boel niet en ben ook hier terecht gekomen door zijn mail adres even op te zoeken via google.... Hopelijk vindt iedereen zijn weg naar hier en laat niemand zich vangen.

Exact hetzelfde verhaal: auto te koop op autoscout, kreeg reactie van Marvin Hoger (kon niet zien van welk nummer) maar hij vroeg me te mailen naar marvinhoger1@hotmail.com.

Wilde auto kopen voor zijn zoon, was telefonisch niet bereikbaar vanwege zijn beroep (oceanographer). Vroeg me een account aan te maken via paypal en stelde voor zodra payment gedaan was dat iemand anders langs kwam om papierwerk te regelen.

Bij mij gingen natuurlijk ook direct alarmbellen rinkelen: wie koopt er nu een auto online voor de vraagprijs zonder deze eerst fysiek te zien? Dus even googlen en hoppa, ik kwam direct op deze site. Bedankt voor de melding!

Politie bellen heeft trouwens geen zin: die doen daar toch niks mee (vertelde de agent mij toen ik 09008844 belde). Ik geef het door aan www.autoscout24.nl

Zelfde verhaal, sms zonder nummer maar met naam marvin.hoge. Of auto nog te koop is en dat hij belangstelling heeft om te kopen. Ik moet reageren op marvinhoger1@hotmail.com. Er is nu in 1 keer een "r" bij zijn naam gekomen.... Hij belt of mailt maar als hij belangstelling heeft. Als hij kan smsen kan hij ook op andere manieren reageren, verbinding heeft hij dan ook, al zit hij op zee. Ga er verder geen tijd aan besteden.

Wees gewaarschuwd.

ook een SMS van marvin gekregen en aangegeven dat ik niet per mail over prijzen communiceer. Doodstil daarna.

Dus een mail gestuurd met de vraag geen contact meer op te nemen en dat zijn gegevens naar meldpunt criminaliteit zijn gestuurd.

Hier hetzelfde gisteren gebeurd. Ook ik heb een auto te koop. Alles in het engels. Gelukkig keek ik op internet omdat ik het niet vertrouwde. Heb melding gedaan bij de politie en bij fraudemeldpunt.

Het is wel heel doorzichtig allemaal. Ik was benieuwd hoe het verder zou gaan. Ik heb mijn emailadres even achterwege gelaten. Hieronder even een aantal reacties van hem; Opgepast dus.

I'm sorry I work only with cah payments. Your mover can pay me in cash when he picks up the car. Then we can also do the paperwork. If you are really intrested in buying the car you can arrange this with your agent. PayPal, as you know, is not save enough.

Ik heb hem een e-mail gestuurd, met argwaan, want vond het ook gek dat een Zweed een oude 2handswagen zou kopen in België en werd pas echt achterdochtig dat hij zelfs niet wilde negociëren over de prijs en de vraagprijs ineens aanvaardde. Ik moest dan via Paypal een betalingsrequest sturen en hij zou dan de verzending regelen. Maar toen ik heb een vraag stelde en een identieke e-mail kreeg dat hij akkoord ging met de prijs en conditie; bla bla bla, vroeg ik hem waarom ik die e-mail terug kreeg en dat ik het zaakje niet meer vertrouwde, werd het antwoord vijandiger en heb ik het genegeerd.
Ik vraag me af wat zijn bedoeling was? Kan men ahv een Paypal request andere informatie achterhalen?

Then his message became less nice and polite, so I ignored and deleted it.
Can someone tell me what he wants or can do with a Paypal payment request?
