I had a good time messing with this caller...it was a "political survey" and he wanted me to answer questions about who/how I was voting in the November election.  So I (tried to be serious) told him I was voting for Teddy Roosevelt.  The man was silent and then told me that Teddy Roosevelt was deceased.  I responded, "Oh wow, I guess I'll have to go dig him up then, won't I ?"  The man paused and said, "Sir, if you can't give me a serious answer, I'm going to have to put you on our DoNotCall list".  So I said, "ok, I'll be serious....I'm seriously voting for Micky Mouse".  The man angrily told me, "Sir, I am terminating this call and putting you on our Do Not Call List !" and he slammed down the phone.    LOL LOL LOL.  I love messing with people.

Laughing at Rem's comment - unfortunately I tried this once and got twice as many unwanted calls!  I hope it works for you!  PERSONALLY, I HATE unwanted calls, sometimes logging in as many as 10 calls a day - mostly from various scammers.  I do NOT give anyone permission to call me unless they are my friends!  I have complained to our telephone provider which should give us unlimited blocking abilities (but they don't) and the state and national do not call lists which are a scam for tax payor money being spent for nothing.  I have also complained to AARP and most recently, to Mica's office (our current state representative) ... WE ALL NEED TO TAKE TIME TO BOMBARD THESE PEOPLE WITH MESSAGES!   While unwanted calls may be a nescience to many, to others, it stops their life lines to legitimate callers or emergency reverse calls.  Not to mention, how many times the elderly or other innocents get SCAMMED out of their money due to TELEPHONE TERRORISM!

Called on Labor Day of all things so I picked up the phone and just kept pressing 9999999*** until they hung up.  This was at 9AM today everyone was asleep until then.  GRRR tired of all these unwanted calls

This guy at this number "Informed Electorate PAC"  called at 4:42 PM 8/5/2016. He said he was a non-partisan survey organization to give voters unbiased survey results. He asked a bunch of political questions and then began constantly asking for a credit card or bank account number for a donation. He said his organization posts results on a website "www.votethewill.org" . So I asked him what they had posted from previous surveys (suspecting a scam -  I was accessing his website to check while he continued to talk). There were no results or reports there so over his constant repeating how easy it would be to contribute, I told him I would not donate anything until I saw they actually had done survey reports but he just kept on asking for money until I just hung up on him. Then I googled his number and confirmed my suspicions.I then put this number on my phone number blocked list.

Didn't answer. When I saw it was from Texas I thought it was Rick Perry. Glad I didn't answer anyway.

called twice, i picked the phone but did not speak, just waited until a "hello" several times. HE finally hung up.
hope to never hear from this type of call again.  or next time, use my whistle,  he will need a hearing aid after that!

caller wanted to know if I was voting in next election - I said yes and then he wanted me to agree to do an electronic signature so they would have permission to call me back.  No! Never agree to do this! They will take the electronic signature and attach it to anything they can and say that you agreed to it.  MAJOR SCAM ALERT!

Received a call from them early this a.m.  Caller ID said something Informed Electo.  Answer machine came on, they did not leave a message, blocked them.  Scammers.

This was very helpful.  Use it this morning!!!!!  Almost choked laughing at the caller being angry!  THANKS!!!!

Informed Elections called me with short survey questions which I answered then they asked for 20.00 "donation" when I said I was on limited income and couldn't afford to give anything (I wouldn't give anything anyway ) I was hung up on. This is a serious scam .I called them ,recording tells you about why they called, about their website (ha ha) and how to be removed from their call list. They also have a live person that can't answer . Went to website called number 888-737-4838 and was told they are a pac and asking for donations is not doing anything wrong. I said it was wrong to first say they are a survey and then ask for money.

8:13 am is kinda pushing it. Robocall from Informed Elector about some kind of survey. As if. Did not stay on line for live person.

Too bad. I've had good luck by answering calls with "Go ahead, you're on the air!" if they don't hang up or respond, I say, "This is news/talk 99. Go ahead, you're on the air...."

Hahaha! Well done! I enjoy messing with unwanted callers too! They just called here but I   couldn't get to the phone...damnit!  I had a call from ''Kevin Costner''  (with a thick Indian accent) from Windows last year who said he detected a problem with my Windows. I told him I  had just cleaned them all with Windex and they simply sparkled and asked him which one he was at. He hung up on me, the coward. LOL! Keep messing with them!
