Got an unwanted call from this number. Something about credit card service. I assume it is a scam.

Credit card scam rec'd on my cell.

Received a missed call from 4782234512.  No message was left.  The call was illegally received as I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I had the same problem. When I called back I had the same identical issue and the person just hung up. I called back again, the numbers are disconnected. They're also calling from 207-738-5788 and I'm on the FCC list!

Got a call from 478-223-4512, left no voice mail hung up. Traced call from Ga. probably a scammer.

Got call from this number today, I didn't answer, they did not leave a message.

# called me this morning before 11 AM while I was at work.  Did not answer, no voicemail.  Called the number back, number is out of service..  So basically the number was spoofed?  Someone is just fabricating a caller ID tag with a bogus phone # from somewhere in Georgia.. Great.

They did the same as most people, they called didn't say anything so I said hello and then they hung up

They call many times a week and leave no message. It is a pain in my ass with what these jerks get away with. Someone need to put a stop to these harassing calls from these crooks

I just got a call from #478-223-4512 on my cell I thought it was my son so without looking I picked up I said hello 2 x but all I heard was chatter in the back ground so I hung up

It amazes me the people that can figure out how to post on these sites, but can't seem to figure out how to befuddle the scammers....or even recognize them as such.

Just got a call from this scammer.  Hung up.  Best thing to do is to get the area code and call the police station in that area.  They state it is a trac phone and cant trace it but can log it in their records.

Some SCAM no doubt.  Called my cell today, 5/12. No message.  When I called back, got message THIS NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE.

(476) 223-4512 just called me. I didn't answer. Phone says the call is coming from GA, USA (GA-Georgia). I decided to look the number up via google and ended up on this page. After reading these comments, I am just going to block the number from my phone ^_^
    Thanks guys for leaving your comments so I don't have to keep putting up with repeat scams. Sure they'll probably change their number or whatever computer service or device they are using, but it'll just cost them more money. Oh, and I was reading a comment about why don't the police just arrest them already? Not all scammers live in the USA, so they (law enforcement) may run into a complication, especially if another country doesn't have a law that doesn't allow scammers to keep calling you.

You could also do what one person stated by calling the police station in that area the call came from. The number in question comes from Macon, GA (476) 223-4512. Don't use 911 to call their precinct or police station. I suggest looking it up and calling them if you really want something done about it.

I got an automated call on my cell phone from "Cardholder Services" telling me my account is OK but need to call now for last chance to lower my interest rate.  I disconnected the call and checked the phone number on-line and found it was a scam.
