Aye, it's GoDaddy.com's customer service, from what I saw. Called them back and it turned out they were calling because I had recently set up some products with them, and they wanted to make sure I didn't have any outstanding questions or issues for/with them.

Go Daddy thank you message for setting up a new account.  This appears to be the number you call in to for customer service as well.

They called my cell. I didn't pick up. They left a voicemail purporting to thank me for buying their product. I have no relationship with them, business or personal, whatsoever. I called back and got the sales division, they tried to score my personal information (presumably to try and sell me something), and I told them not to try it again, then reported them to the FCC.

IT's Godaddy! in case you didn't know.  They congratulated me on my recent domain name.

If they texted you that means you opted to receive text messages when you created the account. Haha fool! Maybe you shouldn't sign up for stuff you can't afford like a .10 text message

If they called you about a recent order they obviously got your # from a purchase made with your phone # maybe even your credit card or paypal account idiot! - If anything you should of thanked them for alerting you about a fraudulent purchase made in your name.

@bradywilll - really godaddy isn't good at doing business... yet they're the multi million dollar company and your the douche still not answering your company phone is.. lol

its godaddy - I just purchased a domain and they were calling to see if I had any questions or need any help setting it up. It wasn't harassing at all.

They called me at p.m. trying to get me to buy more, as if their daily emails were not enough...... I realy dont like that how pushy they are. It is a big turn off

I just received a call from "GoDaddy" as well.  They asked for my pin, and then asked if I wanted to change the way I auto-bill and make them all the same. Currently I have PayPal and Credit Card directly set up.  I said that I didn't want to change it now, and he pressured me 3 more times trying to get me to allow him to help me. I was not going to hand over my credit card information to him. His aggressiveness to handle it was far too concerning!  Be very careful!

Received a call today from this number saying that someone registered 2 domain sites under my name and he wanted my email address so that they could report it since I said that I didnt do it.  I told him that since they already have my cell number they should just contact me on that because I wasnt giving any information.

If you are getting a call even though you aren't a customer - consider a customer put in false information (a random phone number that happened to be yours) because they didn't want to receive calls.  Not everything is a conspiracy against you.

It's GoDaddy. It was basically a friendly business call. I keep forgetting they do that every time I buy or renew a domain name. No complaints here.

Just got two calls from this number in one afternoon.  The 2nd call they left me a voicemail.  It was a "welcome" call from GoDaddy, as I just set up a new domain name with them yesterday.  In the voicemail they also listed the number again and said it was their "customer development hotline."

This was a strange call, they just said it was go daddy and asked if i was Mr. XXXXX.  The caller just asked if I had registered a domain name. I said yes. They said do you have any questions. I said no. They said Ok have a nice day.  The call seemed a little fishy so that is why I went looking for the number on-line.  From the sounds of it they are who they said they were.

Phoenix, AZ Godaddy.com upsale call to offer additional services, they dont answerthey just leave a precorded 52 second message.

ya, they have called me 3 times today & i didn't answer. once at 8am, 11am & just now at 2:30pm.

(since you guys all got 1 call & i had 3... i guess i should really cut back on how much i spend at godaddy hahahah)
