They kep calling me but hung up when I answered, blocked the #, no more problems!!

Referencing my post above... I did renew with GoDaddy after eventually receiving an email saying the renewal date was either sometime in June or July 7th.  They didn't seem too sure.  The message was something like: "Urgent!!!!! Renew Today!  Your contract expires at midnight and you will lose your website FOREVER!!!!!" with a little footnote saying the renewal date was actually 7/7. I don't like those kind of sales tactics.  

I didn't save this number in my phone as GoDaddy because the strange way the caller acted the first time didn't convince me that it was legit.  So when the phone rang today, I didn't recognize the number and ignored it.

I've had my website with them since about 2007.  I'm not a problem customer.  Why don't they just contact me through my preferred method, email, and quit annoying me with unnecessary phone calls?  

I'm thinking of switching to Network Solutions or some other hosting service.

Called by GoDaddy.  Same thing, same misginvings about giving them my pin.  Considering the same thing:  moving my services off of GoDaddy to some place else.

I have never done business with GODADDY yet they have been calling my home daily for over two months.  I called the main GODADDY # 480 505 8877, was on hold over ten minutes and was told 1. they only call people whose accounts have expired or need assistance in some way,  2. they wouldnt continue calling after a week with no response  and 3. they have no way to find my number and remove it. (BS!!)  I told the guy I talked with that I will give it two or three days to be removed from their system and if the calls continue, I will have to take action.  I bet the calls continue anyway!  

GoDaddy calling me to remind me of a domain that is about to expire.

Someone told me that they were my 'Daddy'??????????  I said I'm not calling you 'Daddy' and never mind what I'm wearing....  I'm not wearing anything for your information.  He didn't believe me.  What an idiot, I proved him wrong, sent him a pic immediately! Proved it!   Boy did he get a wrong number!  Jerk!

says godaddy on caller id.  I dont use godaddy.  they have called twice.

Go Daddy wants you to buy their stuff.

This number regularly calls me - they never leave a message.  Display says Arizona. Based on other comments - it may be Go Daddy??  I have never used that company!  Why are they calling me?  This is either a telemarketer or simply a spam call.

It's not a sales call, I've been using Godaddy.com for a while and they've never called to sell anything. They're likely calling to remind me that my domain registrations are about to expire.

Unprofessional guy calls and says there's an issue with my GoDaddy account (Caller ID: 480-505-8859 / Godaddy.com) - When I reply whats the issue? He tells me that in order for him to review the issue, I first need to tell him the last 8 digits of the CC used to open the account and the 4 digit security PIN for "Security purposes!" Since when does a company call you and require you, the customer, to give over such personal and sensitive information to view an issue on there end? If it looks like a scam and smells like a scam... it sure the heck isn't a duck. Look people, use due diligence when dealing with these people - call GoDaddy directly to see if there is something wrong like I did. Guess what, no "Issues" they could see so there you hae it folks - I would not trust the individuals calling from this #.

Rarely, would I accept or appreciate a cold call from any sales team. GoDaddy.com are the exception, these are knowledgeable sales folk who know their stuff, I can depend on them as I derive my income from their products and services.

I received 2 missed calls & zero voicemails from this number today. I am a GoDaddy customer & my subscription is not near renewal. Based on the comments on here & another site, I called GoDaddy through a phone number in a billing statement email. (To ensure I was not calling a spoofer, scammer, etc.)

The representative was able to look at my account & see that this number did call me from their system & was able to give me the times & dates. This is a legitimate- albeit unwanted & unnecessary- call from GoDaddy. It was only to check on things & see if there was anything else they could offer me.

Just talked to GoDaddy. It is an inbound GoDaddy number that will place you in a generic queue. The rep told me they do not make outbound calls from this number and that GoDaddy service/sales will typically will leave a vmail. The hunch is that scammers are spoofing the number and posing as GoDaddy.

Usually working and do not take calls. Get calls from this, they do not leave messages. Work in call centers myself.
The few times I answer there is background noise then muted. I request who is calling. No answer. I remind them they may have the mute button on. No answer. Now passive aggressiveness on my part. Silence. The company pays for losers.

Also getting tons of new spam after registering with godaddy.

I do business with them, but when they (or maybe someone phishing them?) called today all I got was silence. NOT a confidence-builder, y'all! Between their aggressive up-sell efforts and hang- up calls like this one from today, I just dunno, it doesn't make me confident. (note-- when I am the one calling them, their people are helpful.

Calls Monday thru Friday every morning around 9:00. Never leaves message.
