- InToledoI keep getting calls from this number asking for someone else. When I tell them they have the wrong person, they claim I am lying and keep calling asking for money for a debt that is not mine!

- Ms.HI get calls from RP solutions all times of the day from any time in the morning to late at night. They leave no message or if they do it's a werid message that I can't understand at all. I'm tired of them calling me at all times of the day. They will even call me on saturdays and sundays at around 7:30am. I'm about to leave an out going message that if i keep getting calls from numbers more then once a day I'm contacting the police for harassment. They should only be calling once a day, and if they are calling and scaming and I'm on the donot call list they can get over a 10,000 dollar fine for everytime they call me. Which I am on the list I'm about to file acomplaint with the federal do not call list.

- NikkiThey called me on my cell phone and I am really not sure why. They said I owed a debit to a company that I have already paid off. Also I went threw Care One to pay my debit off so I gave them there information and told them they had to contact them. I hope they do not call me again!
- NoelleIn my case, Recovery Partners LLC is claiming that the creditor is Oliphant Financial LLC and they are attempting to collect an 8 year old debt incurred by use of a Lord and Taylor department store credit card.
I rarely use store credit cards, making a purchase about once every 3 years with that method of payment. There is a woman a few towns over whose name is exactly the same as mine. We have a similar birthdate and our husbands have names that are similar to each other with similar birthdates. This has caused me over 20 years of credit related difficulties.
Her debts have been charged to my credit card accounts, I've been denied credit because the creditor thought I was her, my department store accounts have been frozen because she stopped paying her bills, I made car payments to my bank that were placed as deposits into her account for 3 months straight (had to cancel the bank account after I discovered that I was being reported as delinquent when I was paying on time, they just misplaced the money), I've repeatedly had collection action taken against me for her debts, and about 10 years ago, a doctor's office called me up, told me off, said I was lying when I said I wasn't her and that I owed them for gynecological treatment. They sent her patient file to my house as proof that I was the debtor! That's a huge violation of HIPAA medical privacy law, not to mention that the doctor's office provided me with all of this woman's personal information, including her social security number.
I don't know what this current collection is for. They won't tell me what was purchased, only that the purchase was made in 2002. I think the last time I used my Lord and Taylor store card was in 2007 when I bought a business suit. I moved that same year and didn't receive the bill until a year later, when the bill collectors easily tracked me down. Lord and Taylor had not updated my address information.
Even though I informed them of the new address and filed a change of address with the postal service, I never received a bill. As soon as I was made aware of the debt, I paid the amount owed and never used the card again. If it was really me who owed this debt from 2002, why would the store allow me to make a purchase in 2007 without bringing up this allegedly unpaid amount? If it's the previously uncollected debt I paid once it was made known to me, why are they still trying to collect?
They use two phone numbers when calling me: 480-747-9883 and 480-747-9849.- Caller: Recovery Partners LLC

- Ralph ColatrizkyI received a lot of calls from RP Solutions leaving messages looking for someone named Jerry Sandler, and for us to call them back if we knew or not know anything about it. I called back and the person on the other hand started (detected an accent...India), harrassing me about an Account that they purchased and they are trying to collect. I said I was laid off, and can not pay it off, but was willing to give them what ever I could... He said that he was going to sue me and my whole Family and he knew where I lived and he will be watching close by. That is obsurd!!!, if I can't pay, I just can't. The Account is already charged off, and these folks are threating my household. But our Government say, they can't help us....

- AnnMe and my fiance' were in an accident over a year ago. Technically it wasn't even that. He drives a five speed and he forgot to pull the park break up while we were parked. His 89 honda rolled into a van that belonged to a woman. Neither one of us were in the car, as a matter of fact he and I both, were inside the same building as the woman that his car rolled into. When we looked at the damage, there was a little bit of paint that came off of his car and rubbed onto hers. We even took pictures with our cell phones. The cops were called and since he had yet to get insurance on his car, he received a ticket. The officer that filed the report gave the woman all of our information, including my phone number and license info even though I had no ties to the vehicle. She had told us that if the woman wanted to take us to court then we would be notified and if she wanted to settle out of court then she would be calling us. Well, like I said, it's been over a year and we never received a summons to court nor did she call us with any damage assesment or anything of the sort. As a matter of fact, she was employed at the office building we were parked at which happened to be the unemployment office, working the check-in desk, so she has seen the both of us many many times since the accident and has said nothing referring to the accident. RP SOL. called the previous owner to the vehicle, who happens to be my fiance's friend, then my fiance told him to give the people calling, his name and number. Well this guy named Richard from RP SOLUTIONS # (480) 747-9862 calls us and says we owe $400.00 for a hit and run accident that happened on the date the car rolled into this other lady's van. I'm wondering if she lied and told her insurance company that it was a hit and run so they would pay for the damage, then bill us. But, as I already said, my fiance' received a ticket for this accident that was paid off, so there is record of this accident not being a hit and run, yet they contacted the previous owner, almost as if they were just looking up vehicle reg. records from the VIN number. We haven't received a letter or phone call from these people until just now, and the wreck happened a year ago. Should I contact the court house or just pay these people off. I figured that if we would paying for the damage then we would certainly have been notified which we were not. We were fully prepared to pay for the damage because it was our fault, indeed, but this is wrong and I'm just needing advice on what to do...

- xxxArizona is a one-party call recording state; i.e. only one party participating in the conversation (meaning you) needs to be notified in advance that the call is being recorded. Federal law is similar. Therefore, as long as you're also in a one-party call recording state (which presently means all but 12), you can legally record the call and present it as evidence in court, or turn it over to law enforcement for their use. Of course, verfiy this for yourself before doing it. For instance, you might start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_recording_laws

- LindaHeather stated she was with RP Solutions and wanted my health insurance information. When I refused to give it she said she would be doing me a favor and submitting to the isurance company. I told her to send something in writting and she declined politely. I told her she was out of her mind if she thought her I was going to give anyone my health insurance information.
- MrkJust got message from a 'Richard Sorenson' , asking us to call back @ 866 661 5603, with a "case number". I'm always a bit suspicious of calls like this, and thankfully with a bit of diligence, I found this webpage. Don't think I'll be calling back, given that I can't find legit RP Solutions with these #s, nor an employee by that name.

- Mildred| 6 repliesToday, a Ray Cortez from 480-747-9856 called for my son saying he was from RP Solutions representing some insurance company we've never done business with. He said that his license was going to be revoked. Of course, I already read the comments posted here and other scam info. websites and made sure to give him as obnoxious call back as he sent me. My son is not affiliated with my cell phone number, and he doesn't live at the address this Cortez dude stated. He has been calling on my home and cell phone. My son is an adult, but he doesn't share our numbers. I'm thinking he got it off of some stolen information from when he lived at home. I reported the number to the do not call list, and I'm reporting it elsewhere. I've contacted the police department (relatives are officers) and will not stop there. This is just annoying as can be!
