I got that same text message today from the same number

But all weather forecasts say nice calm weather tonight....!!!?!!

I am from Norway and I am in Poland on holiday. I just got this message myself, no idea how they found my number... If it’s the goverment I think my phoneservice would tell me about it..

The way this works is it sends to all numbers connected to polish network tower.

I have czech number and today i received same massage. Im in Prague currently

I had a message saying "Alert RCB: Warning! Storms and strong winds expected today (07/07). Risk of power outages. During the storm, seek shelter." sent to my UK phone while on Poland

I still get these text messages even if i’m in Sweden right now. I left Poland 2 days ago. Even when I was in Poland the storm warnings didn’t come true. I would call that false advertising.

Is there a way to unsubscribe from this service other than blocking the number?? I am asking because quite obviously this service is not working properly. I was in Poland a week ago, but just a while ago i got this message. It gets pretty annoying when you get spammed by these messages that are not even true for me since i am not in Poland nor do i live there.

We left Poland more than 2 weeks ago, and I'm still getting this message, and more than once a day.
It's annoying.

I have received the same message but I leave in Italy...... I went in Poland for Easter holidays.
What does it mean?

I was in Poland 2 months ago, but I live in Spain and I also just got the weather warning message.  I don't understand, I was in Poland one day and I didn't give my number to anyone.

Just received it too, in a spanish number, being in Spain. was in Poland a month ago. Where do they take these phone numbers from?

I just checked in the web of Rządowe Centrum Bezpieczeństwa, from polish government and they are making public the same alert, so it looks like a safety kind of  message from the government. This is their message.  (Alert RCB (20/21.05) – silny wiatr i burze z gradem- Uwaga! Dziś i jutro (20/21.05) silny wiatr i burze. Możliwe przerwy w dostawie prądu. Zabezpiecz rzeczy, które może porwać wiatr. Alert o takiej treści został wysłany na teren całego kraju.)
