this is fake

it is some kind of joke or really some big game.

I got a missed call from this number, I am in Thailand, i think this number from the  fraud, because I never give them my phone number before because I don't know he is a scammer, then I know in the later, I break off relations , so after that I always received a call from other international number.
Do not call back , they are the scammer, may be this number call by internet calling.

Today morning, internet connection disconnected on my PC. I have a SKYPE wirelles phone, which works even if the PC is off. I tried it (the SKYPE phone) - it worked ! Tried to call to my mobile (Czech Republic) and what a surprise ! The number 496939018532 appeared ! If I try it now (internet already works normally), it apears "private number" - as it should.

OMG People, it's not SPAM, someone is using SKYPE to call you, i keep asking my GF are you recieving my calls and she say no only a call from a number she dont know, so i said check your cell, i'm calling now, next thing out of her mouth is "omg it;s you"!!   SKYPE has some fixed numbers depending what country your in or it is all zero's

I just got a call from this number to my office phone which is however forwarded to my mobile phone. I thought some of my clients from Germany was calling but when tried to call back there was a message from the mobile phone operator "A non-existing number". I am from Bulgaria.

Hi, just receive call from this number and it is Skype call from my friend! This number is used for skyp calls.

Got a call from this number also on my Czech mobile, did not pick up as it was late evening. Judging on your reports I will not call back. Only forms I filled in where related to accomodation searches in Austria.

This is skype number.. If you call from skype to mobile they can show this number or lots of other. But this is skype number. Maybe some friend call you,but you dont answer:)

I'm in Tajikistan, received the call from this number on my local cell phone.  Glad I checked this website rather than call the number back!

Just saw the post about it being a Skype number - that makes sense because a friend was trying to call my mobile from Skype at the time.  Thanks for clearing that up!

Today I get it, and a woman say check something, what thing I don't know.

This is the number that shows up when someone tries to call you using Skype. It might have been someone you know, it might have been someone trying to scam you. There is no point trying to call back, it won't work.

Also, received 2 phone calls on 20th of October, 2009. I have seen that the number is not in my phone book and it is also a foreign one. I thought that it will cost me a fortune to answer So, I made them unreceived. Analyzing the previous comments of other people, I understood that I did not miss anything important. However is scares, how strange people can got information about different people. No comments... High tech :-) Also, thank you very much for people that commented on this site letting other to know waht does this number mean

Same story to me.. missed two call from that number.
It is not the first time, it last since beginning 2008.
However i have always missed them.

I'had one call from this number today at 14:04 time zone -6 hours.Fortunatelly I didn't hear and didn't call back and after I red these comments I won't. Thanks to everybody.

Call from the same number to my private phone. I am Hungarian. Last week I got a call from Peru and somehow I found on Facebook a lady from Venezuela with that phone number (starts with +51). Is this a new game or really a mis-functionality of Skype? By-the-way I do not use at home Skype!
