Report a phone call from 503-403-2660 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- solipsisI have been getting repeated calls from this number, too. They call my cell phone several times a day and never leave a message.
- pack95Ditto everything.
- help!!!how do i get these annoying calls to STOP???
- Matyou people are stupid. this is a wells fargo collections number. its calling to leave you a message saying you owe them money. pay your damn bills and they will stop calling you.
- RachelIt really is a Wells Fargo number, 503 or 515 numbers...they always do that (that = everything that everyone has been talking about)...if you pick up they'll have your information on hand already but if you call back then you have to give them your information...I think they are calling about delinquent credit card payments but mine are always on time so I don't know what they are talking about but maybe their system is slow for such a "top-notch" bank...whatever...I've worked at call centers before and I don't get why wells fargo or jcpenny etc are so [***]. They get your numbers and they call and call on the pursuit to achieve their goal...sales...or whatever malfunctioned information they have.
- Good Bye Wells FargoWatch out, if you don't return/answer their calls, they will drain your bank account, they took ALL of my money out of my accounts to pay a line of credit that they accepted a contract to take payments from a Debt Reduction Company. I made my payment on time and everything, but one part of Wells Fargo didn't talk to the other part of Wells Fargo. Had they not accepted a contract to receive payments from Debt Reduction then I WOULD HAVE PAID THEM. They are idiots and don't listen. I have never answered from this phone number and won't answer, Good Bye Wells Fargo, hello new bank!!!
- megani am sick and this number keeps calling my house over and over again!!
i finally answered and they hung up! then immediately after that my sister got a call from this number on her cell phone.
I called it back and got this wells fargo bs!
This is obviously a scam...
First of all none of us are having problems with our cards!
2nd why would Wells Fargo have a ghetto system that hangs up when you answer!
3rd since when does Wells Fargo ask for your credit card number to look up your account?! They always ask for your account number first then ask for your social if you do not know your account number!
This is a scam. Do not give them any info unless you wanna get raped up the butt for all your hard earned money!- Caller: 623-040836
- AngelaIt's NOT from Wellsfargo. I already called the bank, and they confirmed that the number above is NOT associated with them. They only use a 1-800 number, and your "card number" is not required when reminding you about credit issues tied to your account. People who claim this IS Wellsfargo, are being fooled by the fake answering machine message you're directed to when calling the 1-503-403-2660 number back. It's a scam, so don't give out any personal information.
- ckThis number called on Jan 1, 2009. Did not leave a message, nothing. Do NOT give them your information; even if they claim to be wells fargo. Beware.
- AndreaThis is NOT a Wells Fargo number. I do not have nor have I ever had a Wells Fargo account, however I receive a call from this number two to three times a day. I finally looked up Wells Fargo to get their number, called them up, and spoke to three different representatives - all of whom told me that 503-403-2660 is NOT a Wells Fargo number, and that the call should be reported as a scam. Do NOT give them your personal account information.
- ChrisAfter calling Wells Fargo, I have to reiterate the above statements that this is ABSOLUTELY NOT a Wells Fargo number. I knew I didn't have an account with Wells Fargo, so it wasn't a huge deal for me to ignore it, but I thought it prudent to double check.
- GBI'm pretty sure this is a legitimate Wells Fargo number.
I just called it back. The number has an extensive automated answering service, and you can speak to a real Wells Fargo employee in english or spanish.
Criminals do not set up such expensive and sophisticated infrastructure. The voice recordings are clearly professional, and the comments here go back almost two years.
If this was a scam number, do you think they'd keep the same number for two years? And if they did, wouldn't the FBI have shut them down yet?
The number is legit. I seriously doubt that anyone of the commenters above was actually asked to give full account numbers.- Caller: Wells Fargo
- MEI have had calls from this number at 11:15 at night, they are going to be reported to the better business bureau tomorrow. Turn them in, that is the only way to fire those stupid [***]. We all have lives, and rights. [***] N#**$rs!
- M.A.This is a total scam. Just horrible, greedy scum calling people on the off chance that they have a debt to Wells Fargo and are naive enough to enter their account information over the phone. We were getting these calls several times a day and we don't even have a Wells Fargo account!
- Caller: Wells Fargo
- Aloha 1357All three of our family cell phones get called by this number at least three times per day. They never leave a message. I assume it is a scammer. I am going to see if I can block this number without having to pay for it.
- PatHow do we get this to stop?
- Caller: 5034032660
- kitten....hmm, it doesn't make sense that a scam number would be up for 2 yrs and be so detailed, but the only explanation is that when we call the 1-800 Wells Fargo and they say they're not affiliated, maybe they are outside callers for WF on accounts.... But it still seems more sneaky than it has to be!
Could someone, perhaps, ask the rep for an ID number or something? Then call the main offices to double check that ID? Or maybe when they ask for an account number, give them a completely fake one- if they say it doesn't match whatever they have, are they for real?
I dunno... I DO have a late payment on my acct, but not close to 30 days.... I'd say it's just best to be more safe than sorry, and to call back an 800 number- b/c if they're WF, they should be able to help you with whatever issue from a for-sure legit number :) - linI got calls from this number too. then I called WF to make sure if they had made the calls and WF told me they didn't and told me that WF wouldn't make calls to ask for personal information. So just ignore the calls from this number.
- ladydebI get these calls also. I do not answer. If it is Wells Fargo, a bank WILL NEVER call you for information. They already have it in their computer if you bank with them. Most likely it's someone trying to get your info for idenity theft.
- SandyJust got one of these to my cell phone, 8:30am on a Sunday. They didn't leave a voicemail. Thanks to this site, I know this is a scam and to avoid answering this caller.
