Its simple just call WellsFargo and ask for the Fraud department. They can confirm who they are and you can make arrangements ro pay your bill.

I just wanted to let you all know that I contacted my Wells Fargo Bank and asked if this # is affiliated with their collection department. The bank said "yes" it is and the auto dialer will continue to call until your account is back in "current" status.  They "do" ask for the account # to pull it up, last 4 digits of social and other personal info to verify your account.  If you do not have an account with Wells Fargo and are getting these calls, you'd better make sure someone hasn't stolen your identity!

No bank/credit card company will call you to ask for your acct number...they already have it. Its a scam people

LOL, i just got a call from this annoying number and i looked it up right away since im on the net.
I had been wondering who'se number this is and where its calling from and it just Wellsfargo?
If it's that important, why can't they leave a voicemail.

It is likely a company calling on behalf of WF Credit Card...Don't give them account information. they called you so they should have that information. Don't let them call your work and don't let them call after 8PM local time.

I have received many calls from this number.  There is never a response and it is VERY annoying.

Call comes daily but no message. assume it is a fraud would like to know how to stop

This number calls me every single morning on my cell phone. It's a pre-recorded message, saying "This is Wells Fargo" that they want to talk with Noah Eddisson or something like that, "if this is not Noah Eddisson, please press 5", and blablabla. I bank with Wells Fargo so I wasn't suspicious at first until I googled the number. My cell phone connection is really bad and so I systematically get disconnected.

I'm going to make an entry on the do not call list (https://www.donotcall.gov/) I can't believe our public services actually have to be the one protecting us against this kind of annoying phone calls.

As a Wells Fargo customer, I e-mailed them to inquire whether this number was theirs. Their response is: "Online Customer Service is unable to offer verification regarding whether the organization which previously called you is related to Wells Fargo." (!!!)

I asked them to remove my number from their system and so far have not received my daily recorded message call. So it must be theirs? Well if they don't know...

This is not a scam.  This is Wells Fargo Financial.  They are calling to collect on past due credit card bills.  Either YOU owe them money or someone usingyour telephone number owes them money

If it is wells fargo they should just leave a message and quit calling. Who answers #s they don't know??? Not me....

For people who say this is a legitimate call from Wells Fargo, I'm not sure that I buy it. They've been making multiple calls to my cell phone -- which is a corporate phone and not affiliated with any person. Oh, and by the way -- I don't have a Wells Fargo account or card, etc. Because the system hangs up and doesn't leave a message, it's not as if they're asking for a real person.

Also -- if a bank is trying to call you b/c you're in Collections, would they hang up the minute you answer? Don't they spend their lives trying to track you down?  
I called them back (after doing some research), and asked them what they wanted. I said I had no account with Wells Fargo. They asked me for my name, but I said it wasn't needed b/c they aren't looking for me. They took the number and said they'd update it a while, but I got four more numbers.

I called back, this time the person apologized and said that it must have been a mistake, they'd fix it so my number was removed and that it takes some time. But I still don't buy it.

I told my bank that I will pay in good faith and I will communicate only in their internal messages.  The people from 1-503-403-2660 located in Beaverton Oregon should stop automated calls.  I answer and get recorded messages.

This is legit, I ONLY get these calls, and ALWAYS, when I'm over my credit card limit, and they STOP the minute I go under. So if it is a scam, they are already monitoring my account, so why ask for my number. Also I've called wellsfargo before for card related issues, and they DO ask for proof of who you are, IE account information, yes they have our info on file, but if I said iwas john smith, who need to transfer 100 dollars to my account they wouldn't just pull up johns account and do it. And when I say I've called wells fargo I mean I've called through the number on their website, yes the calls are annoying, but they only happen when its my fault, so yeah, legit.

I don't have credit cards or checking accounts and these buggers call me all the time. Same old story, I answer, they hang up; what's the deal? I don't have the slightest clue what they're after. I was shocked to see this site! I was looking up the phone # online and up pops this site. I don't care what anybody else says, this is a scam and if you give out your personal info to a stranger over the phone?, ignorance is bliss. Have fun in la la land with the pink unicorns and dancing fairies.
