I got a call from this number and they said they wanted to collect a payment on a credit card service. They had my address and then asked me to make a payment by transfer. I told them I did not have a checking account and I would have to send a check and they said I could set up a transfer through any bank. I became suspicious when they began asking me for other personal information and asked if I would like to add that information to my account. I told them no, and that I would set up the payment online from another bank. However, Wells Fargo online does not allow you to do that. Obviously they should know that if they were legit.

They dont leave any message and when I answered other calls no one says anything on the other line. Hmmm, I'm going to block this number.

This all makes sense. I haven't answered. AND I owe this month's payment on my credit card - so they're pry just looking for that payment.

Got this call, and it has left a toll free number to call 866-710-3868.
I do not have any Wells Fargo accounts, and that is who is answering.

I get this call like at least 10 times a day. I only answered twice and it was a machine looking for Brooke Williams. I have no idea who is Brooke Williams. who ever Brooke Williams is, please pay your payment and change your number to your CORRECT number!

This number keeps calling me and its getting really annoying because they don't leave a message and they call like once every hour

This is a Wells Fargo number.  They are likely trying to reach someone who either used to have your cell number or incorrectly entered it as a contact number.  You can call Wells Fargo at (800) 988-8019, then press 0 and you will be connected with a person who can remove your number from the account.  I just went through this process and had it solved in less than 5 minutes.  Good luck!

Frustrating and annoying!! This number, and others similar to it, call 7-10 times per day. No message ever left, and when I do answer-music or no one on line.

Thanks Barbara, I just took my number off the list as well!!  It took 3 minutes.

Wells Fargo looking for a credit card payment.

They called my home 3 times today starting at 8am. It was a recorded message from Wells Fargo (I don't even use Wells Fargo)after the 3rd call I phoned them back and spoke to a customer service rep. She denied it was them who called (which is strange when it was their number)she said best to report it on line...so here you go...

I received about 6 or 7 calls from this number within 2 days. They don't leave voice messages. When I called this number back, it asked about account number.

I get a call from this # several times a day, but no one is there!

I've had this as a screened call for awhile, but after reading the posts, called the 800 number listed above (Wells Fargo) and they removed my number. Quick and painless.

I got calls from this number 2-3 times a day. When picked up, it was always a voice message looking for Cynthia. Completely no idea who is that. I own my number for more than 3 years.  Got annoyed this morning when I got a call 8:08am. It is Saturday! I called AT-T. But their hours begin at 9am on Saturday. Then I called this number, 503 403 2686. When I got through to somebody without entering any card number, the phone was off. Called again, a man said he will remove my number. I must sounded very angry.

Same number is now calling me.  Noone is there when I answer and no message is left when I don't answer.  I pay all my bills, so this couldn't be for me.  I think I'll try to get my name removed on Monday.

And they'll give question you about if you know the person they're looking for...it was REALLY difficult to be nice to the $10/hour employee that took my call after 2 weeks of 6 calls/day.

(503)403-2686 has been calling my cell number daily for about 2 months now. Yesterday, they called 6 times in less than 5 minutes. Answering their call results in an automated service insisting that you are the person they are attempting to contact and gives you no option to speak to a human being if you are not. No message is left if you don't answer. I have called them back, explained that I have never held any account with them, nor am I either of the two people they seem to think my number links them to. I've had my number for several years. Pretty strange for it to be mistaken now for someone else's. They've assured me it's taken care of, but they've already called again today and it's not even noon yet. I've asked nicely, but at this point, I'm rather thinking of calling them multiple times a day and asking for dead celebrities that owe me money...

Many, many calls, all from this number looking for someone I'd never heard of.  After
finding this page I called the 800 number listed above and talked to someone who said
they'd have my number 'removed'.  What the couldn't tell me was why I was being called.
Most annoying!

It's aweful! This number calls me at least 7 times a day. They have never left a message.
