Stop calling me, what word do you not understand. Stop!

You're new to this, aren't you?  This is an information board, where users exchange information about crank/harassing phone calls from telemarketer's, scam artist and other scum.  Whom do you think you're threatening?

have received 4 calls from them in 6 hours --- it's very annoying --- I've asked to be removed from their #'s

They have called a ton in the past and it started up again. Last night they called, I told him I was doing terrible and he did not say sorry to hear that. He went into his sales pitch and I responded by telling him I was naked. He told me to have a goodnight and that ended it. Looked at caller display today and they called back! Maybe he changed his mind! If he calls again my next line is "Do you think it is odd if I sometimes masturbate with a handful of thumb tacks? Lets see how far I can push them until they stop and trust me I got a ton of stuff that will get them to stop.

This NEW CO called my home phone 41x in 30 days from 5 different phone numbers and is now starting to call my cell phone from 5039028294. I did some research through my bro who works at a legit telecom company. The number belongs to an unknown out-of-state telemarketing company that purchased/leased it from a Los Angeles based competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) named Pacific Telecom. Here's the info on the company that leased or sold the number:

You can report these harassing calls, file a complaint and/or direct all inquiries that are associated with Pacific Telecom to the Federal Trade Commission either by calling (877) 382-4357 or by visiting www.ftc.gov.

I don't know what they could possibly be getting out of continually harassing people that detest them.

I keep getting a call from this number.  I never answer it as I don't recognize the number.  I went to Verizon website and blocked up to 5 numbers, but this wasn't one of them.  I also unchecked they're sharing my number (which I didn't know my number was being shared and didn't authorize).  Telemarketers call my land line continuously;, even though we're on the don't call list.  And now, they're doing the same on my cell phone.

Just got a call from this number. I called back and it gave me the option of removing my name from their list. Says it will take 24-hours to take affect. We will see.

THey call everyday for about a month, then stop for a month, then start again. I answered and talked to them once and he said I could get a free security system if I put a sign in my yard. I said, "I live in an apartment" he Blah Blah Blahed and said "Let me make sure real quick, you own your home right?" I said "NO." He talked more, then said "You own your home right?" I said no again, this went back and forth 6 or 7 times.

This telemarketer keeps calling me at least 4 times a day for the last 6 months with a different area code. I've tried calling them back and not answering when they call. I've even tried calling them back and tried talking to them but they don't m ow anything else. I've even told them to [***] off and stop calling and why do you know they keep calling.

File a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry, a part of the FTC.

Also, make sure your number is listed on the registry so if they call you there will be grounds for recourse.

When I called back - The recording stated that we were calling MAC (???) It stated that if we do not want to receive telemarketing calls anymore from this number to press 1....No further info and as I remained on hold - No further action was taken and no other telephone prompts were asked......

this is a telemarketing number but if you call them back you can automatically remove your phone number from their dialer...

They have been calling me for months too.  It is so annoying but at least they don't call 2 am.

Stop calling me!!  My number is on a do not call list!

PLEASE stop calling me on my cell phone!  I hate using my minutes on telemarketers!

Then file a complaint.  It doesn't matter how much you ask them not to call, they will not stop.

I keep getting calls from this company.  It started when I created a new account with Verizon.  I'm not sure if they were given it by verizon.

I have a number of these hang-up calls on my answering machine. If they are a telemarketing company they need to be reported, as I am on the Do-Not-Call list for solicitors!
