They (it) called three times in two minutes this morning.  I have their number blocked (Xfinity phone service).  Saw the number on the "missed calls" log.  Apparently they can't seem to understand what it means to be blocked.  I just now finished filing a complaint with the Do Not Call (www.donotcall.gov) registry; I signed up with the registry two months ago, so my complaint is valid.  The id on the Xfinity log shows the number/name being Woodburn OR.

Phone Number Report: I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC but due to the volume of these scammers I don't think they will ever stop any of them. I find that I get great enjoyment by pressing 1 and talking to one of their "reps". I have a phony name, credit card number, security code and social security number that I use. The only legitimate number that I give them is the customer service number from a card that I no longer use since they raised my rates. I try to ask the criminals as many questions as possibe to keep them on the phone as long as I can. The scammers seem to get upset once they finally figure out that THEY are getting scammed. I guess they think their time is more valuable than mine. There are two guys behind this scam and they have a slew of corporations, many of them defunct. I searched using the name “American Debt Negotiators” and found the name of the Registered Representative was a guy named RAN BARNEA, aca RAN DAVID BARNEA, aca DAVID R BARNEA. He is also listed as the president of a whole slew of other active corporations. The other guy is DANIEL T. POST. This stuff is all public record. I have received many calls from this number.  They call them Credit Card Services and they want to "help" you to consolidate you credit card bills.  You must have at least $3000 in debt before they will even "help" you.
I have opted to stop receiving thier "offers" several times.  I have tried to speak to an agent at least a half a dozen times to try to get them to stop and they just hang up on me.
I have reported them numerous times to the Do Not Call List to no avail.  They keep trying to contact me.

Numerous calls daily! How do we get these idiots off of our phone? We are on the "Do Not Call List"!

They claim to be from an outfit called credit card services and by their claim, nearly every bank under the sun is in their network. They "want to lower your interest rate as close to zero as possible" LOL and yes, they will try to get you to give them an account number. Some poor fool must fall for this, otherwise they wouldn't keep trying. Bottem line this is a SCAM.

this scammer company called me 5 times yesterday...I've reported them to the DoNOT Call list and obviously this federal agency does NOTHING..........they keep calling and I just don't answer. They're calling out of Salem, Oregon

The reason filing a complaint with the "Do Not Call List" does not work is that these companies use spoofed phone numbers which makes it almost impossible to trace.  They can put any area code on the number they want so you don't really know where they are calling from.  In this case it appears to be an Oregon area code, but it could be anywhere in the US or even outside the country such as the Caribbean.  If they are outside the country, the Do Not Call List does not apply to them.

Repeated calls once a week from this number ( we don't answer unless we know who it is).  Caller ID is "Cell Phone OR"

from Cardholder Services with another recorded call about lowering your interest rate.

Jackpot who is this owner of this number. I haven't been able to get it.  I will give it to the FTC and FCC and maybe get him sent to jail.

Called late at night - same junk as below - big joke as I don't pay interest - so thank goodness for caller blocking function of my phone.

Received a call when I ansered it as a dial tone.  I called back and the number was temporarly unavalable and was asked to try my call later.

6-15-12 Sat. 4 Calls, 3 of them hang ups, the 2nd Call, always a recorded message-a woman voice saying there are no problems currently with your account, to lower Interest rates etc blah blah press the number__ key to talk with a live Rep.  they do not give a name of their Co or a phone number. A Sure SCAM TO GET YOUR--INFO & ID. On A Prev Call On 5-19-12 I used *69 to get this # 503-902-8480 Call came From: Woodburn, OR.

Maybe you could assign a custom ringtone - a silence ringtone.  Then it wouldn't bother you at all.

Recorded message about lowering interest rate.  Calls all the time, several times a day.  Luckily I have caller ID, but answered today just to see what it would say.
I'm smart enough to know better, but my Gram is very old and gets confused by these calls.  It's terrible!

Recorded message telling me they can reduce my energy costs by switching.  Press 3 to remove your name from the call list.  I get these all the time and pressing 3 doesn't stop them.  Caller id is faked like "V08270924160000" which is the month, day, hour, minute, second of the call.  So ignore these ID's when you see them.
