Just called. Stated he was with Thomas home security and asked for the home owner.  I told him I was at work and I rent.  He just said thank you for your time and hung up.

Received a call from this number at 11:56am,1:22pm,1:37pm,& 1:48pm, finally decided to answer to see who keeps calling and leaving no message. I too don"t answer unknown callers. Home alarm company, asking if I want a free alarm in return of posting an advertising sign. I declined and asked to be removed from calling list, they kept talking, I could hear myself echoing, and they kept talking, I beleive some kind of a recording that responds accordingly, when I asked is this a recording, they disconnected.

I was getting calls from this #, aka Home Security G, by telling them I was not a home owner and lived in an apartment. They need owners only so their customers can make money off of long term system monitoring.

Researching this #, I found that their telephone company is Freedom Ring Communications dba Bay Ring Communications.  This company IS NOT the telemarketer.  They are the same as ATT&T, Verizon, except they provide telecommunications services(internet, programmable business phones, phone numbers, etc.) for businesses only. Example: You buy a Dell computer, get internet from Verizon, and then you decide to become a hacker. Does that make Verizon or Dell hackers? No. I set the company I used to work for up with MPower 25 years ago, and my daughter and son-in-law used to install and program business phones for a company now bankrupt. That is why I knew to look deeper when I found someone's posts on another site blaming the wrong company. Unlike the telemarketer, you can call them and go to their website, bayring.com and they will clariy it for you.

I received 8 calls today from this number and from Colorado and from New Hampshire.  I receive calls daily and never answer them.  What a pain!!

THEY HAVE CALLED ME 9 times....9 times just today!!!!!!! UGHHHHHHH!

Called me 5 times while I was in school, only a two hour class, desperate!

Just got this call this morning. I have gotten the same types of calls from a couple of different numbers. I usually just pick up my phone and don't say anything. Eventually he gets tired of saying "Hi this is Tom from Home Security. How are you today?" and will just hang up. I'd pick it up and give him some choice words, but I'm at work, and I doubt my co-workers would appreciate that :)

Two calls from this number today so far. The reverse look up says it's a landline. Not sure if this was the number that was calling me a few months ago, but I am betting it was or it's from the same place. When I asked to be removed from their calling list I was told they don't have calling lists. Another time I asked for a manager and was hung up on. Lawless Creeps

I've got many calls from these folks...I've either hung up or not answered (though they won't leave a voicemail). I finally answered. They are selling home security systems. I simply told them that I am not interested because I live in an apartment complex and am not allowed to install something like that. They promptly hung up!
EVEN THOUGH I ASKED TONE TAKEN OFF THEIR CALL LIST. Just tell them you live in an apartment and cannot install a security system.

got the same call ... how do we stop this? it wastes our time and productivity ... add that up among all the people who actually work and produce things or services of value and it's a huge waste ... this should be considered a serious crime

This number keeps calling me daily for the past 3 days.  This morning 2 times within 15 minutes.

They've called 3 times today and numerous times all last week.  Called back and pressed "1".  If they ever show up again I will sue the sunsabiches...

Telemarketer trying sell a free security system if they can put a sign in my yard.  Yeah right!  Complete BS and probably a scam.  This person also called yesterday and I told them NO!

I say at 1 p.m. AST Sept 13 we all call the number just once, tell them "just a minute" leave the phone off the hook ( if you have free long distance.  Tie up their call system.  LOL!
