got a call from +50093629996, did not answer, no vm either

I was playing w/ myself then got interrupted

Its' a scam about a prize you "won".
I speak Spanish, so I understood them. I asked the woman who called me, if she can tell me how she got my number, she said NO and hanged-up.

I called them back and I got got a choice to be called again or remove my number. I'll keep you posted.

If the number is registered in Haiti, then the language is Haitian (kinda like French/Spanish mix).  Got a recording when p/u.  Very odd.  Maybe its a "war-dialer" searching out active phone number, that would be why national registry does not work at blocking, especially from outside US.  Annoying.

just recieved same call on my cell...poor connection, in spanish. hung up. i just googled the number, i had no idea others were getting this call too!

Got this call yesterday along with another spam call that i get every once in a while.  Stuff is getting old.  As i said on my other comment, it would be nice if the cell companies would give a carp about their customers and give them features like VOIP has...basically u can block/forward certain #'s.

I just got a call from this # on my cell but didn't pick up....
My # is not registered so I find it starnge someone was able to get a hold of it???? They didn't leave a msg on vm.

The +509 is the country code for Haiti.  They don't really care about the do not call directory.  Best bet is to block calls from this country if you can.

Same issue here...call came into cell phone.  bad reception and message in Spanish. Hung up right away.

My friend received a call from a number he didn't recognize, he answered, listened for a moment, and told me "it's for you". It was a recording in Spanish.

Call came to my cell.  Someone speaking Spanish and hung up.  I'm tired of annoying calls.

I am not take this call a few minutes ago.
