I got a call from a woman stating that I had malware on my computer,it was midnight!  I have gotten many of these calls in the past and just hang up, but I never expected to get a call at midnight. That's crazy!

They called me today saying they were with FedEx asking questions about the business??
I was like... FedEx doesn't call asking questions about packages. They deliver them. Stupid scammers

I got the call from the Indian fellow from Texas saying that my computer was infected with viruses and malware. I told him that's interesting you could not know that. Then I looked up this site.

Received call - didn't answer.  Tried (252) 495-9027 and heard message - "This number no longer in service."

Same thing just happened to me. I called the number back and got recording that it was no longer in service.

the number 1-512-495-9027 called me. They said they were from microsoft and that my computer had a virus and they will remove it, but you have to let us in. Then i said no and I closed the phone. I was using my computer on the bus and it was working perfectly. I came home and when it got connected to the wifi, I turned my computer on and it failed to locate the hard disk and stopped working?? any help will be appreciated

I received a call from 512-495-9027 with caller saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to help me with a virus in my Microsoft internet explorer program.  He told me he was calling from Florida but the number registers in Austin TX.  He had called me just prior from 607-724-9716 with the same story but got disconnected. The 607-724-9716 call showed it was coming from New York.  I hung up on the second call.  I really doubt he was from Microsoft.

512-495-9027 are now saying that they are Windows Technical Support and that that their computers have crashed and they want to issue a refund for the money that has been paid.  They are very insistent that you get in front of your computer to fill in a refund claim form. Have been scammed before and am not planning on being scammed again.

I just had a call saying he was from support plaza and I had viruses he gave me 1-866-856-4811 call back number. Funny thing he said he was from NY and when I said that is a TX number he changed subject

This has to be that India base company.  Unbelievable!  They claim to be in the US anywhere from Sugarland Texas to San Diego, CA. and up to The Twin Cities.  They are apparently spoofing phone numbers using and IP number spoofer.  They claim you have a virus and have malware on your system.  They are trying to get to your id and other info.  PLS do not fall for these a**holes have to say.  I answer the phone and lay it down so the idiots are talking to dead space.  Then I pick it up call them a liar and hang up.  LAUGHIN'

Just got a call showing this number. Asian accent, hard to understand. Pretends to be from Microsoft, but I've been through this before and hung up.

Caller identified themselves as "your existing pharmacy" and said they were calling from Mumbai. CallerID shows AUSTIN as the name. 5124959027 OR 15124959027 OR "512 495 9027" is the number.

Had a call from this number. I was aware of it being a scam. They did say they were from Microsoft.

I never answer unknown numbers. And after checking to see if they have been highlighted on websites I found out that so was the case. I've had 3 such calls in the last 2 days. My advice is to not answer any number that you do not recognize, check it out on Google first.

Just received a call from them. Didn't answer it. I Google all numbers I don't know, and wish everyone would do the same so that they can help prevent themselves, and others, from being scammed by lying liars.

Was an automated call from "the I.R.S.". About a lawsuit... big time scam!

They give you a phone number to call about the IRS lawsuit. I didn't call. I'm sure it's a scam. The IRS would not call from a Texas number (that is no longer in service).   Don't call them back and NEVER give any personal information over the phone!
