I got the same text a few minutes ago. Said mine was denied but , didn't say what it was. Seems it's not just Kroger or pharmacies. Seems like they're trying a lot of things. They're just trying to get people to respond to the text's.

Actually they really don't know if the number is active. They're trying to get people to respond to them. Then they keep trying with different numbers to try to trick someone into responding where they have code in them. It's not even safe to hover over the links of these , If the code is set to initiate on hover.

Once they dial the number and it either rings or the text goes through then they know the number is "active" even though there is no reason for them to know that. I can see that you didn't read and comprehend the post that I replied to.

Where did you get that piece of paranoid information from? Please make sure you tell us and that it is a reliable source.

I get texts from this out of state number saying it's City Market Rx and my prescriptions are due, then it sends another text a few days later saying they're overdue.  I called the Rx and they said my meds were already refilled, they're NOT overdue.  Before, texts from my Rx had the option where you could just click boxes of meds you wanted refilled, now this number says to type YES. My cyber security training says never to say Y or YES to any strange text or call.  My Rx said their text messages come from a third party system, so I don't know if this is legit Rx refill text number or not.

Phone call from this number. I didn’t answer and they left no message. I use Kroger pharmacy but this didn’t seem to be related.

Update to previous post. Received a text supposedly from Kroger Rx.

Hi Arthur, I called the number and got "Thanks for the call. Configure your number's voice U R L to change this message. Let us know if we can help you in any way during your development."  Apparently, this is the error message which is triggered when users of LeadSimple have not had their number fully configured.  Perhaps some more learned persons will weigh in on that.  In the meantime, be safe.  Call the number on Kroger's website or on your Kroger member card if in doubt.

Called in a prescription to my Pharmacy in 10 minutes later I get a text message from the same number reference to Bob indicating I needed to update my insurance! I did not respond and then Googled and found this information but you can't answer any phone calls nowadays or say yes or reply to any text everything's a scam nowadays be careful

Mine also ,, +15138137884,,,, this number slid in on something ,  def not my pharm,,, I reported spam , blocked it and deleted it,, get it off my phone completely !!

I called this number , thought my pharm,,, which I already had saved in contacts and already used this contact with no problem ,,, today 3-18-25,,,  I called it and a recording was wanting to know if I wanted to change my voicemail greeting from " I am away and ILL "" ,,,,  to a different greeting !!????   Very confusing ! And scary ,,,, what is going on with our phones and being so targeted ??   Who is responsible here in USA , for the FCC FAA FCA ???  WHY DOES SO MUCH OF THIS GET BY OUR SO CALLED PROTECTORS OF OUR PRIVATE INFO AND PHONES  ,,,  SOMEBODY IS LETTING IT KEEP ON HAPPENING ,,,, SOMEONE.     IS.     ACCOUNTABLE !!!!
