I've read through the other posts and I gotta say that they are still at it. I've gotten about 20 calls over the past couple of weeks up to 5 times a day and as late as 830pm. Collection agencies aren't even this persistent...

thet tried to sucker me into thier scam, Dumb [***]! I dont Have A subscription and havent given my phone # to anyone.

they called me and told me i won something being like 17 i was like NO WAY YAY!!!!
when they got to needing a credit card i happened to have one of those gift credit cards so i asked what it was needed for and they said "its to verify that i am over 18" i said well im not over 18 the woman said "well thats ok we will work around it" im like well ok so i gave them the gift card info (i only had about $3.42 left on it lol so i didnt really see any danger hahahaha). well long story short i am now turning 19 and i still never got any mags and they keep calling to get my info lol every time they call i confront them about having OVER 325 COMPLAINTS REGISTERED IN THE BBB (http://www.bbb.org/iowa/business-reviews/maga ... ale-ia-32000118) they say what are you talking about so i repeat my self and they say they are BBB accredited (THEY ARENT) lol every time they call i just screw with them i highly recommend it its tons o fun lol they dont get ur info and you get to have fun u cant loose

i have recieved a call from this same phone number today and told them not to  take any money out of my account because i cannot afford it and they were very rude. i will be calling my bank to stop payment just in case they try to do so any way. please be careful of these people.

So, I just get off work, and attempt to call my wife.  She didn't answer, so I expected her to call me back immediately.  I answer the first call that I get and it was this 'company'.  I normally ignore any calls whos number I don't recognize.  The first guy I talk to was really nice..  I told him I just got off work and stuff, so we joked around about that.  He told me something like how they were getting a ton of customer complaints, and wanted to let me know that my account WAS in-fact paid in full (which I was aware of) and if anyone told me otherwise to ignore them.  Also wanted to make sure their information was updated (my marital status, age, job title).  As soon as he got that information, he put his 'supervisor' on the phone and then I was being asked for my Visa information.  First he just wanted to know the expiration date and last 4 digits.  Then in order to process the next 60 month period, he needed my card info.  I then stated that I didn't want the next 60 months.  He said that I was obliged to, that it was part of the 'contract'.  I'll be destroying my card tomorrow and talking with my bank about getting it canceled.

This number called me at 9 pm.  I didn't pick up.

Hello, they just called my house and a woman who said her name was Jeanette wanted to talk with my daughter who was not available at the time, so I asked if I could take a message and she said no, no message and hung up. They call my house on a sunday which sends up red flags to me, and I did a white page reverse look up and this is what it said: Unpublished (515) 251-5316
This number is a landline based in Des Moines, IA and is unpublished.

Don't answer this number I'm sorry if I writing wrong they call u about some magazine and the they ask u for u bank account I don't know how the have but have careful  I'm sorry again.they take money from my account oready.

Hi. I worked at Heartland for about 2 years. I witness everything everyone is talking about on here. I know exactly what they do and what they are all about. I've seen the way they have treated their customers/potential customers and employees. I recently got fired from there for some crazy reasons that i'm not sure how much i can talk about because of the actions i took against them. That recent situation is now settled. This group page is an opportunity for people to discuss what Heartland has done to them. Please feel free to post any thoughts, concerns, or experiences you have had with them. i have tried to find that group on facebook no luck please help

I received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I have been having problems from this company at my home number, now they have my cell phone number.  The company is Heartland Inc.  I have reported them to the BBB in Iowa where they are located.  Somehow they got my checking account number and have been taken money out, monthly.  I have since closed that account and have hired a lawyer.  They keep calling me and my husband answers and tells them, I am no home, and they hang up.
They call and I answer and I tell them I am not home and the say they will call back later or hang up.
PLEASE STOP CALLING ME.
