Get calls like 5 times a week, no one talks, when call back goes to a disconnected line

I got a call from this phone number. I call back. It is just busy.

I just received a phone call from this number.  It was also a gentleman with a Pakistan accent.  He insisted he was a company that provided technical support to Windows users and wanted information on my computer.

I just got a call from this number, and it was a survey about allergies.  The woman's name was Ching or something "ing".

The first two questions were about allergies.  The rest were about how long we've rented/owned, what our jobs were and how long we were at those.

I just stayed on the line to see where it was going but I got pissed off when she asked if I was married.  I said "yes" and then she asked what SHE did for a living.  I corrected her, and then she said "you are not married, you are common-law."  End of phone call.

I had absolute home services call me a while back and TODAY but the #s they give are different from those posted, IM ON THE DNC list but they all still call me have ppl call me several times a month now. everytime they call you for anything report them to the DNC list complaint form, I DO, did that so far about 5 times this month.

He insisted he could not remove my # & that if i was on the DNC list there is a number i should have to give him (, bc I had a similar scammer call re the same "#", NO THEY DO NOT )
After a long struggle to be removed ...and he told me they get the # out of the directory, which i said PPL are on the DNC list you CAN NOT call ppl like this. HE gave a kitchener # but cant find record of the # matching the company.
just before he hung up hoped i wasnt mad at him and said " Just kidding ( to not removing my #) have a good day & good bye"
same olde duct cleaners w east indian accents pestering ppl. quite tired of it bc i get all sorts of scammy calls with being on the DNC list .. maybe more than when i wasnt on the list, humm.
not sure if he gave a fake # or confused if i was asking for the # HE was calling bc the # he gave was "close" to ours.
Our Ducts arent even olde enough to be cleaned but month after month they keep calling, usually generic duct cleaning companies w different #s each time.
today was "Micheal" ( which i have reported that name before, as well as "absolute home services")
if you arent on the DNC list get on it and report these [***].

PS if any telemarketer ever hangs up on you , sure sign of a scammer, really "telemarketers" get in big trouble for hanging up on customers.
best not to give any info but get THEIR info b4 you hang up on them so you can report them :)

have to wonder if exactly the same ppl asking for diff scams had a similar phishing scam saying about viruses on my computer and wanted to take over control of my computer, LMAO ( YA my internet company HAS done that but I called them about a problem, and they still asked permission to do it),

then another caller saying something about a credit card that we dont have and a bank we dont deal w , they gave the ligit bank # but had no bus calling us, bunch of scammers wasting my time, i guess the best thing to do is WASTE THIER Time by getting as much info out of them so you can report them, thats what i do. :)
the last repeat scammer " supervisor" that the usual guy pawned me off to got all hot headed that i didnt tell him i wasnt interested :P

I just got a call from this number, no area code, showed up as (Unknown Name). It was a guy with a very thick accent, could hardly speak english, claimed he worked for Windows and he was trying to get me to download something from a site and then another that was harmful to my computer. It was loud in the background, heard some snickering, and the creepiest part was he knew about files on my computer. Long story short, he knows things about my computer he shouldn't, but was obviously not a legit service provider.

It is probably a "line service" to see if your line or number is live. If it is they then they sell it to a real telemarketing company to make money, This is just a thought as they have been doing this for years, especially since they are always a different company on the line and are unable to get a hold of when called back. tell em to F*** off

received a call from this number. Guy started talking. Wouldn't say where he was calling from. Hung up and he called from a different number. Want to know who this number belongs to. Sounds Chinese. Could hear a name in the background.  Zhang

It is a harmless service. Long distance calls to a KW number are redirected via this service.

call yesterday at 5:20..from Air Duct cleaning..has been calling none stop for the past year...several complaints filed with CRTC..nothing being done...very frustrating

Just got the same annoying call again! They are INDIAN accents saying they are from AIR DUCT cleaning! I tell them each time I RENT and do not require their services...I also tell them I asked a million times to be removed from the list and they hang up on me also. I also filed a complaint..and also tried calling back to hear a busy signal. These people need to STOP!  I have recevied more then 50 calls in the last 6mths by them from UNKNOWN numbers as well as 519-772-1785

Just got a call from this number, I am in Kitchener Ontario and it rang local to me here.  When I answered, they hung up.

Hey heres a suggestion

first of all, keep track of how many times they call your cell phone
then, next time they call (just say they called 2 times before and this is the 3rd), tell them you expect their check for 2.25 in the mail or you will call the police.
