I have had that too Kendra where it's been silent on the other side from that number. Also I have had to say hello a few times and either a real person would come on or some automated message. Get the block put on your phone. No idea why but we all know that's a scam call number.

London girl...it's Sky line..at least from that number is what I have gotten. It's annoying and they don't give up. The call back's will always say not in service. They are not coming from a phone but done off a pc in places like Costa Rico. They are scamming people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. I did a post here on how 20/20 did a show in it weeks ago. They were making lots of arrests. Never ,never give your credit card number or anything. They make you think their call is legit and so far from it.


I suggest you call Phone Busters and report it as well as calling your phone provider and and get on the no call list. It does not cost a thing to have the call block put on your phone.

i got a call from 519 777 6667 and i answered it...was a computer altered voice saying they were gonna kill me...i asked and they repeated it...i asked again and they again repeated it.. i phone the number back because it showed on my display the number had a `this number is out of service, i looked on the white pages site told me was a cell phone...number in the london area.............

I get these calls from Solo Mobility all the time too. I have told them I'm not interested and not please stop calling but they continue to call. Drives me crazy. And I'm a Solo customer. You'd think they would treat their customers more respectfully.

Me- I would call your local police and report it as well as Phone Busters. That was what I was told to do. That freaks me out that it said they were going to kill you. Your being threatened !
The call is not coming from a  London cell. The way they do this is from a pc in other countries. You think it's a call from an area code you know. The numbers when you call back are always out of service..of course they are. They are coming from Costa Rico etc.

Mary- It's not Solo..they would never treat their costumers that way by calling constantly. It's part of the scam going on. They are known to take names of companies you know , heard of or use and try and scam you into giving out your personal and credit card info.

The more people call their local police department and phone busters the faster they can work on tracking this down. In the meanwhile put a call block on your phone to stop whats coming in. They are relentless making several calls a day.
My calls finally have stopped thanks to the block.

I got this call and it was a man saying he was Solo and he hardly spoke English.  He was a real bully on the telephone.  

If it is scam artists from Costa Rica, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they hacked peoples home computers to obtain personal information.  I have been getting scam calls for 3 years now... I recently changed my number and sent someone on facebook my new # and now I am getting new odd calls from different companies.

The number just called me and left no message. I called it back and got the "6ut2" this number is not in service. So how did it call me???

I have been so lucky that I am no longer getting anymore calls from this number. I contribute it to 2 things. 1 my husband after three week , 3 times a day said look do you know your calling a federal officers home and 2 putting a block on the phone.
I think the numbers are just computer generated. What got me is even after me screaming on top of my lungs the same guy who could hardly speak English still called back daily. That was till my husband got involved. You never can call back the number and I think it's due to you cannot call a computer back. I mean can't quote me on that but that's what I think.
If your getting calls from even a new number...I don't think it was Face Book. Just luck of the draw as the computer calls. Plus I think if you say no , get my name off this list , scream till ya turn blue.......still the calls continue. I have gotten numbers, letters and odd sequences on my phone. Very rare did a number show and able to try and call back.
Also peoples phones are always stolen and they may use that number to solicit your so called free trip, money you have won , etc. which you know you never put in for.
Like with e-mail...I must get 5 scams a day saying I am owed money , won something , someone needs help and put this amount into an account etc. So if I give my bank number and 10 grand I will receive 10 million ? Wow sign me up now..here's my bank account! LOL

Well so much for call blocking. Came up unknown caller. Guy barely spoke English and low and behold...Sky Tel. If it continues I'm gonna have to do that thing where people need to do the * thing to get through to me.

I got a call from 519-777-6667.  When I answered no one answered back.  A code number came up with the phone number.  Code number was V12101706500002.

14 Calls from this number today... This is a little insane..so much for the national do not call list... what a joke.. im getting sick of these annoying calls.. just going though my call list from the last 10 days ther have been 61 telemarketer calls... Id amlost consider canceling my phone if it would give me piece of mind

Stupid person from Solo called me and got charged Long D rates. He told me I won a free cell phone and so I asked him how he got my cell phone number and he asked me for my cell phone number... IDIOT. It's a scam!

I used to get a lot of scam calls as well, then I found this share ware software called Phone Tray by Traysoft I use the free version. their website is www.phonetray.com. It runs on your pc, you run a phone line to a modem on your pc, you can set it up to block any call after one ring, it records every call that comes in as well. You can also set it up to answer with a variety of messages then disconnect the incoming call. some of the messages are funny some are classic such as 'we are not accepting telemarketing calls' then the big ole hang up!!! This little piece of software has been fantastic and it's free and they update it regularly at no charge. I don't work for them but I have been so happy with it I have donated money. this will do what Bell, Telus and the rest refuse to do, give you the ability to block these idiots. Let me know if any of you use it, I know it works great for us!!!

I just had my landline hooked up on Friday with a brand new phone number and low and behold they called as soon as I hooked up my phone with no one even knowing my number. I wasn't home each time, and no messages were ever left.

Once they start calling they are relentless. Even if you say no , hang up,scream etc. They still call back.I guess whatever pc they use just keeps rotating the same number unless you agree to the scam. Maybe I should give them my Shoppers card number. lol  I am seriously thinking about getting a little air horn and blasting into their ears.
I was so happy once the calls stopped and nothing for 3 weeks and boom another call. To me it always sounds like the same guy. So much for the call blocking and phone busters.
We have all complained to our phone companies and all getting the same numbers or letters with numbers. Still they are coming through.

Recieved a call tonight at 6:20pm.. I was feeding my son at the time and told him NOT to call back. So what did they do.. called back right away.. not once but then another time after I didn't pick up. So the third time he called I answered and he proceeded to yell at me saying that I have no respect for working citizens and this and that. We were on the phone arguing for 5 mins. Like who are these people....?? What kind of business calls you back and yells at you????!?!?!?!?!?!? : /

I just got a call and it's at 8:20 pm and my husband ripped into the guy and said I need to speak to your supervisor now. They put a guy on the phone and was trying to validate the call when my husband kept tripping them up. The guy finally hung up. V1214202014001 -519-977-6667

I just received this call too but even odder was that the name came up as V1217633290007 and number was 519-777-6667

I swear they passed the law do not call and I get more of these idiots calling....

I get those letters and numbers as well at times. I thought I was in the clear with not getting calls for 3 weeks on the do not call list but they started right back up.
