Calls me everyday with a message asking for someone who doesn't live here.

This number calls  practically daily. It leaves messages that it is not a sales call, that it is about an important personal matter and it is it is in your interest to talk with them. It ends by stating that they will call again at a later date.
Some time ago it asked for a person by name, that is not living here.
The calls are  a nuisance and should be stopped.

they  call   every   day and  after  hours  and    after   10 years  and   they  are  very   rude  on  the  phone it   a collector  they   should   not  be able   to   call   after   hours  and   after   year  a  deat is  cleared up   why   are   they calling still its  just  not   right..

They call  noon and night and when you answer they hang up.

we are having the same issue. My husband cleared a debt created from his exwife 10 years ago. We had our bank fax proof that the debt was cleared and they still call everyday and harass us. They are rude and obnoxious.

I used to get calls from these people but then a new number appeared instead - the whole thing has started all over again - I have turned both numbers over to my phone carrier to handle as harassment calls.

Ditto how is it now? I take the phone and put it to my stereo speaker when it is hard rock or just kimmitchel! lol

These people are leaches who could care less if you owe a debt or not - the government needs to put a stop to businesses like this because they buy up olds records with debts that do not exist.  I finally spoke with them the other day and suggested they stop calling or they would face legal action but they called again.

I get at least 10 calls a day from this number. So far they have not left a message and when I answer I get silence. This harassment has got to stop.

They keep calling asking for someone else.  When I say wrong number, they ask if I know the person and won't let up.  Tell them where to go and hang up.

This number called me today for the first time.  I answered it, and whoever it was hung up.  What kind of business is that?  I need to find a really good APP for my phone to block particular calls.  

If they call you, and it is in fact not for you, if it is a live person, tell them "I am NOT the person you are looking for, and I would appreciate it if you stop calling this number, and please remove the number from your calling list.  Otherwise I will report it to the Better Business Bureau and even possibly make a complaint with local police that you are harassing me."   By law, they have to remove your number from the list, and they have 24 hours to do so.

Whoever hires this company for debt collection is wasting their money. This is a massively stupid company that repeatedly makes telephone calls for people who don't even exist.

Gadzooks, I've been "debt tagged". :)

What that means is last week my wife received a vague form out of the blue from Aktive Kapital stating a debt owed of $1300.00 and change that isn't even hers. In other words these bottom feeding scumbags bought a "Stats Barred" unrecoverable debt from Wells Fargo that we never owned or heard of and attached it to my wife. Lucky us. Btw our current credit rating is golden and has remained that way through the years.

Now, 1-519-963-1310 is showing up on her phone which is being conveniently ignored. Do not respond to this # or give any personal information. It'll come up as Portfolio Management Solutions which is a cover for Aktiv Kapital.

Back to "Debt Tagging". A rogue debt collector like Aktiv will attach anyone's name to a debt for reasons as simple as having the same full name, last name, maiden name, previous renter/owner and in some cases home town. That's called "Debt Tagging".

Be responsible and pay up if you have current legitimate debts but if you become a victim of this debt buying trash don't be afraid of their tactics. Know your rights.

Call the cops

Calls daily. This is Aktiv Kapital, not Active Capital. If you answer the rep is rude and obnoxious. I've told them no one lives here by that name, it's my number and I know who lives here. They said they'd just keep calling until the person they are looking for answers. I told them to stop. It is illegal harassment in Canada. The guy just laughed and said I'll call again tomorrow.
